迪亞茲酒店和度假村(Diaz Hotel and Resort)

We recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately were quite disappointed with the level of hospitality we received. The staff seemed indifferent, unhelpful and extremely rude, which made our stay uncomfortable. Additionally, the room was not up to the standards we expected, with cleanliness and amenities falling short. Its a run down property which is poorly maintained. Do not stay here if you are coming with the family. There is not a single option for food for vegetarians. Something as basic as chocolate syrup for pancake was not available with them. Zero value for money.

Great location except some issues like deposit for breakages of R1500 that still has not been f=refunded. No towels we had to supply our own. Mouldy smell in apartment when entered and mould on the curtains that was changed when we pointed out the following morning. Someone parked on our parking place in the garage and had to go back to reception to get another.

We were on a business assignment for two days, with a series of meetings in the Hotel's conference room. Good facilities for up to 15 persons. There was a power outage on the first night, unrelated to Eskom loadshedding, due to a power outage in the district sub-station. The Hotel coped quite well with this in keeping the restaurant open and serving quality meals. Generally, all meals were of a very good quality, including the finger lunch during our business meetings. Banqueting and IT support for our meetings was excellent. Rooms are very comfortable and clean, with a great view onto the beach..

We visited your resort for the first time for a couple of days end of June 2023. Booking was seamless,the staff was friendly,allowing us an early check-in. The room was perfect, clean, smelt fresh and view was spectacular...

Very happy with the true friendliness of ALL the staff at this hotel, from security to front desk to restaurant. Training must be first rate! Will consider staying there again after this trip whoch was a present to us from our son Simon

We had booked a superior room and we got a fine room at 12 floor with a nice view. Nice and clean room but also rather impersonal. The breakfast was fine as well. BUT the restaurant in the hotel was a disaster to be quite honest. The restaurant was not even half full but anyway we were seated in the dark corner next to the kitchen door - why!! We asked to be moved and we did. The waiter was lost in taking order, we ordered two times drink, two starters and two main dishes. Everything came at the same time and the food was almost all fried and might have been under a heeding lamp for a long time. Dry meat and soft and super borrowing fries. Not really worth eating. Absolutely the worst meal in South Africa… so stay there but don’t eat here apart from breakfast

Wir waren zum Glück nur eine Nacht hier. Dieses Hotel lebt von seiner tollen Lage am Strand und der tollen Aussicht aus den Zimmern. Wir hatten schon Probleme den Eingang zu finden, man hatte das Gefühl von Lieferanteneingang. Die Lobby nüchtern und kalt, dann das Zimmer: War renoviert, aber mehr als lieblos möbliert, leider. WLAN, lahm! Dann das Grauen: Während ich beim Frühstück auf meinen Kaffee wartete, konnte ich beobachten, wie eine Servicekraft, die Tische abräumte und „säuberte“! Mit dem Lappen, mit dem sie lustlos die Tische säuberte, wischte sie erst Abfall von einem Teller, wischte dann über den Teller und stellte in für den nächsten Gast wieder auf den Tisch!!! Ich konnte nicht fassen was ich sah, mir verging spontan der Appetit! Einmal Díaz, nie mehr Díaz!

Was disappointed because when we got there, thry told me that I have to pay while I did make the payment already. They also didn't change one of my booking dates-I did communicate with a lady, Sonja. I will really think twice before booking at Diaz. But we enjoyed ourselves.
