Very nice king studio unit, nicely decorated, good location near the shops. Would be great if an electric frypan or hotplate and saucepan was available in the unit (rather than having to ask for one) so we have the option to cook some of the time.

This motel is ideally located in Mt Maunganui, a decent walk to the centre of town and the Mount Club. Baywatch has large modern rooms. Even though we had a room next to the main road, we found it quiet and had a great night's sleep. We had a booking for longer and with two rooms, but a medical episode meant our friends couldn't travel with us. Despite this coming up only a few days before our scheduled arrival, our host showed excellent awareness of our situation and was very flexible with our late changes. Full marks for that.

I stayed for a week while on business, with my husband travelling with me. We stayed in a King Studio unit. It was very clean and tidy. The kitchenette was great for breakfast and lunch but is a bit basic to cook dinners. There is plenty of room with a desk to work on. The location is great with a heap of restaurants of all types within walking distance. The Manager/Owner, Yi, was very friendly and helpful. There is also off-street parking. We'll be staying again next time we are at The Mount.

Very close to central Mount shopping and business area. Good parking and easy check in.

Great location. We could park the car and walk to the cafes and restaurants. The room was a good size.

Good and clean room.Parking on site.Reached out to explain after hours check in procedure. Could have been a 5* but they did not allow me for a late check out.Will not come back for that.But place is good.
