We did enjoy our stay here if only for the views from the balcony of our room, stunning location. However the rooms are lacking in a few basics such as better equipped kitchenette and improved bathrooms. The hotel next door has a restaurant so perhaps most guests use this for their main meals. There was no sink in kitchenette for washing up and no crockery for plated meals. Bathroom was lacking space. But we enjoyed a peaceful nights sleep and the dawn chorus in the morning was wonderful, such a great location. We also used the swimming pool which was welcome after a long drive. Certainly worth a visit if in the area and would be perfect with a few minor improvements.

After just finishing the Schits Creek TV series i was amused to stay in a place that reminded me of that show. However the views are incredible, next to an amazing pub and the peacock roaming the grounds in the morning with the bird sounds was a nice way to rise. Its a basic motor inn to rest your head you get what you pay for.
