Cool spot! But, They charge $25 for a pet deposit!other than that…. 👍🏼

Highly recommend. Stayed one night on way back to our home in Iowa. Other than parking not well lit the, the hotel met all our needs. Beds quite comfortable and linens clean. Pool area appearance made it inviting, but lour check in was delayed so unable to enjoy it. The breakfast has cereal and my go to waffles. Staff was cordial and polite. When traveling to east Tennessee this will be my place stay. Strongly recommend this motel

Arrive at Days Inn Mt Vernon IL to find that they will hold an additional $100 deposit so I don't steal towels. Toilet seat was not clean. They screwed up my confirmation on my reservation, and the 2nd person had such a thick accent, I could barely understand her. In addition, my loyalty number that I have had for years with all the "-INN" hotels was no longer valid, so no credit on that account. The breakfast was barely passable, all carbs. Had coffee and a waffle. In a word, cheap. All in all, the only good thing I have to say is that the room was quiet. Looks like management has changed. Not recommended any more.

This place wants a $100 security deposit on your card. I had clerk put it on my M Card so I didn't have it pulled from my debit card that I paid the room with. 7-10 day reund turn around. Well she changed the deposit to each card. Didn't catch it until we were an hour down the road and wife noticed it on our debit card.

Great clean well maintained hotel with wonderful staff including Hemith who checked us in and out. Great loction right off Highway 64 with well lit parking. Nice pool. Comfortable beds and quite rooms and good internet. They have great reviews and we can attest they earned them. Great value.

Very clean place and the kitchen area was well stocked. Reasonable rate and the front desk is manned by a real person unlike the inn next door.

The room counters furniture and remote needed a good dusting snd cleaning. Tub floor could have used elbow grease cleaning. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hood

Do not recommend. 1st thing is the front desk is rude. There is a sign there telling you if you have a problem to call Wyndham corp. There is a heavy chemical odor after you leave 1st floor. The rooms are in disrepair. There is sign telling you what will be charged if you take items (towels ,sheets ect) So I did a quick video of what there was in the room).The only chair in the room is a desk chair & it is a cheap mesh that isn't comfortable. Exhaust fan sounded like a plane taking off. Hair dryer did not work. The linens are very dingy & stained. The ice machine have out of order signs on them as well as Do Not Fill Coolers! sign. Breakfast was a joke. But there is also a sign "Do Not Remove Food From Breakfast Area!" Did not use the pool but again there is a sign "Do not take towels from pool to room! "

The receptionist Melissa was very rude. We had seen prices via web and she took my aunt's charge card and continued to run her card before finishing discussion that on-line showed different price than she was charging my aunt's card. We asked for senior discount and she stated "the price was with the discount applied and they do not honor on-line pricing". The transaction was being run before conversation over, so we could not cancel without being charged on the card already. She then sat down once transaction paperwork and room key card placed on the countertop. When I asked if they had hot coffee available (it was dinner time)? She just said "don't know". My aunt proceeded to look around on our own and found pump dispenser. Coffee it in, but it was very cold. I understand the room have coffee makers, but it was not clean enough to risk using it. Our bathroom stunk so bad, we had to keep our bathroom door shut and the exhaust fan running to keep the awful smell from coming into the room and bothering my asthma! For $100+ a night, could of found a better hotel. We were in room #202

Front desk clerk was very rude and did not communicate the polices about deposit and fees. Had a broken fridge as soon as I checked in. Didn't inform us and no sign was posted saying they only accepted cash when purchasing items at desk. Very old, outdated, smelly hotel. Would not recommend at all!

Stay away from the Days Inn, Mount Vernon Illinois ! This place is a black stain on Wyndham Resorts good name. Cockroaches & bed bugs inhabit the room, floors are sticky & grimy, Mice running around in the breakfast area and mouse droppings on the counter tops. The staff is rude & ignorant especially the manager Stella (not her birth name} . This manager commited credit card fraud & charged eroneous charges to my card on 3 sperate occasions (2 charges & one refund of a $1.00 eroneous charge) STILL OWES a refund for the origional eroneous charge. They will lie cheat & steal from you and may respond with more lies and put the crazy India spin on it to try & look good. Don't believe any kind of response they give to this review because it will be more lies UNLESS THEY FINALLY ADMIT THAT THEY ARE GUILTY which doesn't mean that they will make it right . If they do make it right, I will edit this posting and all my negative reviews about this place. My word is as good as their word. Humm ?

Electronics- I don’t think employees should be aloud to have them while working. I went to check in and she was too busy talking into a speaker to answer/help me. She told me she upgraded me to a suite I got to the room it was the handicap room with a king size bed, the bath tub and sink needed to be scrubbed/bleached or something they were nasty. The ice machine on the 3rd didn’t work I went down to the 1st floor I said something to her about it she said yeah there’s one.

Terrible experience. Manager had us park on the opposite side of the building that our room was on. The shower has no pressure and the head was covered in lime or mold. The room was dirty and had a grimy feel to it. The sheets did not smell clean and the pipes were loud. And to top it all off, apparently they have in room cameras that take pictures or video you as we have been accused of smoking in the room and were told that they have pictures of us doing so. We did not smoke in the room and only smoked outside so now they are denying our $150 deposit along with invading our privacy!!! When we called Wyndham to complain about the cameras we were told we had to complain to the local hotel management as that is not a Wyndham issue. I’m not sure how it isn’t since it falls under their brand!!
