Our stay at Hisa Posebne Sorte was a highlight of our trip in Slovenia. The location of the hotel is beautiful, in the countryside among the vineyards and outside the small town of Kodreti. The room we were given was lovely, simply but beautifully decorated and with a beautiful terrace from which to enjoy the afternoon sun and the views. Our evening started with a tasting of the wines from the family vineyard. The wines were delicious, and the conversation was far-reaching and engaging. Wine tasting was followed by a fabulous four-course dinner, with a salad, soup, main course and dessert. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. After a comfortable night in the quiet countryside, we were greeted with a breakfast of traditional Slovenian foods as well as scrambled eggs and strong coffee. Our hosts were delightful, welcoming and thoughtful. They shared that many weddings and other special occasions are held at their small hotel, and we understand why you would choose Hisa Posebne Sorte for your special event.
