I had the opportunity to stay at a hotel in My Tho city in June 2024, where the front desk staff were notably friendly and the breakfast was fairly comprehensive. My room, number 407, lacked windows and had a fairly hard bed, although the bathroom size was acceptable and there was a desk suitable for work. Despite these amenities, I find the hotel to be overpriced, charging 660k for the lowest rack rate. While the hotel features a rooftop bar, it is modestly equipped and the service there was disappointing. The staff at the rooftop bar lacked a basic understanding of customer service and hospitality, which greatly diminished my experience. Their insistence on closing promptly at 10 PM and rushing me to finish my drink was particularly frustrating. When I brought my concerns to the front desk, their only solution was to offer a 10% discount, which felt more dismissive than accommodating. This experience, along with other service issues, has left a sour taste in my mouth, not just for the hotel but for My Tho city as a whole. Unfortunately, I don’t foresee myself returning to either in the future.

The 24-hour front desk and airport transfer services add to the convenience. Rooms: I stayed in a Triple Balcony Room, which was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The crisp white linen added a touch of elegance. Value for Money: Song Tien Hotel provides excellent value for your budget. Compared to other properties in My Tho, it’s a steal! A wonderful boutique hotel on the bank of the Mekong River. The hospitality is at the top level, attentive and efficient. We booked transportation to/from Saigon as well as local tours through the hotel that were interesting and fun. Our guide, Khai, made the difference. Food is delicious amd served ina very nice atmosphere. The 25m pool oversees the river, is very clean and welcoming. Rooms are large and well-equipped and the bed is super comfortable. This place is one of a kind and cannot be compared with any other resort on the Mekong Delta so if you can afford then do not hesitate.
