The Dawn Hotel

Air conditioners are not at all up to the mark. After repetitive request they made it little bit ok. However i have never experienced this type of behavior. I am a frequent traveler and stay from 3 star to 5 star hotels depending upon the requirement / city. This was my very bad experience in my life so far. This review is to improve the quality of service by the hotel as well as by make my trip authority.

I stayed at The Dawn Hotel in Mysuru from 15th August to 18th August, 2024, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The room itself was equipped with all the basic amenities you'd expect, which initially seemed promising. However, several issues during my stay marred the overall experience. Firstly, the breakfast service was consistently late, which was quite disappointing, especially when you're on a schedule. While some of the staff were helpful, even suggesting good places to buy sweets, others were quite the opposite. I encountered instances of rude behaviour and unresponsiveness that were far from hospitable. Additionally, the TV remote in my room was not working when I arrived, and despite informing the staff, it wasn't fixed until I had to ask again the next day. This lack of attention to guest needs was frustrating. Given these issues, I can't recommend The Dawn Hotel. I found better accommodations in Mysuru at comparable prices, offering a more pleasant and hassle-free experience.

It was horrible experience I will never refer this hotel to anyone. Receptionist was terrible and rude. If you won't accept the request then you should not give the option. I have paid 600 extra for early check in which is first time in my life.

The hotel doesn’t know what is the meaning of cleanliness. Rude staff. Very bad infrastructure. It has all qualities to give 0 star rating. it doesn’t worth even 1000rs. I am doubtful in using their bed sheets and towels as well. Please don’t risk your hygiene by staying here. You have an amazing hotel just opposite to this place.

Over all had a really good experience spacious and clean rooms and staff was really good and helpful l hotel is at nice location with good restaurants around

Wash room was very congested with no space and not clean. Tv was not working and the service was pathetic. No one cares for guests. Not worth the price that i paid.

Hotel is in the heart of the city, rooms were average and parking is a hassle. Reception people are really nice and exceptionally co operative.

The hotel experience is very bad. Stinky everywhere. Not good overall. Breakfast complimentary they told. But they give only one dosa. No buffet. Not a good choice. You can get better in mysore.

Not even eligible/worth to 0.25 star Details of my Booking from Agoda website: Booking ID-1299015281 , Jun 15, 24 - Jun 16, 24 Paid- Rs 3980.80 I am attaching proofs of my stay at the most fraud hotel in Mysore, THE DAWN HOTEL , MYSURU Issues Found: 1.) AC was not working for the whole stay , they said the fuse was blown , which they didn't fix till checkout. 2.) Breakfast is a scam , they will give the cheapest food from swiggy and charge Rs 400 for it. Because of this , we suffered from food poisoning. 3.) All the switch boards and doors are broken and infested with white ants. 4.) Bed bugs are visible on the bed and the furniture. 5.) THE STAFF (ESPECIALLY KIRAN) IS THE WORST, HIS ATTITUDE IS UNBEARABLE, PLEASE CHECKOUT THE VIDEO FOR REFERENCE , WHEN WE COMPLAINED FOR THE AC ISSUE. 6.) Looking at the shady behavior of the staffs, we also doubt if there are hidden cameras in the room. 7.) Also they park a mercedes in front of the hotel to increase the image, it is a proper image fraud. Even though the owner is not available on the premises. 8.) All the booking sites are showing the fake/paid reviews , which is not at all true. 9.) The hotel does not look like it is shown in the booking site's photos , everything is worn out and old.
