I stayed here from Dec 12 to Dec 14 2024. It was a nightmare of an experience. The initial room given was large with old furniture, curtains that barely covered the windows and narrow balcony that opened onto the slum right beneath. The room was too cold. Temperature was hovering around 2C. No central heating in any of the rooms I was told. Very surprised for a cold place where temperatures go low to 1 C or lower. I was then given an old coil style open room heater, it was quite scary as it is potential fire hazard and also carbon monoxide poisoning in a closed room, so kept the heater going on and off manually it had no auto temperature cut-off. In the morning spoke to the gentleman at the reception and had to give him a good lecture, then they changed the room (showed it to me) a much smaller one so it did feel a lot warmer and they gave an old but a covered room heater. Could barely sleep the second night too. The furniture here was no good either. Cleanliness is definitely questionable. Stained toilet papers!! Dirty! VERY POOR MAINTENANCE! I was told there is no one eating dinner on Dec 12 night, so was served food in the room which was okay. Only to realize in the morning that they didn't have a breakfast buffet either, it is all printed, you choose from the print-out they make it for you. No one was having breakfast either. There were hardly any people staying in the hotel. It was one of the worst hotel stays ever. A hotel open in the winter without proper heating, in a place where temperatures drops to 1 C or below. This place should stay closed during the winter months, not recommended for stay during the winter and definitely not a value for money at any point of time. It is also NOT located near the Naini lake. It is right on top of the Mallital road. The climb back is quite steep! VALUE for MONEY == NEGATIVE. NOT RECOMMENDED for anyone looking for a descent stay. DEFINITELY not recommended for the WINTER season to anyone.

Outstanding Hospitality at Royal Heritage Hotel, Nainital. The Restaurant Manager Mr.Bhuvan and Mr.Gopal and his team truly made our dining experience exceptional. Kudos to the entire restaurant staff for creating a warm, welcoming, and top-tier dining experience. A big thank you to the entire staff for their top-notch service — truly memorable!

It is excellent hotel in heart of centre point. Very caring and courteous staff, nice food, non alcoholic hotel, super room service and customer care at top priority. One of our member had fast on one day but restaurant chef and staff took so much care to provide their best alternative. Even staff went to market to buy fruits specially for one person. Great hotel worth going ….

Very clean and good facilities Very comfortable bed and room, breakfast was tasty A nice historical hotel with very friendly and helpful staff (the charming bar wasn't open, though) One of the staff members called Digvijayq was very helpful and was enthusiastic about telling us local history and made us feel very welcome. Had a wonderful stay at this Heritage hotel situated in the lap of Himalayas with a breathtaking view of the entire city. We were highly satisfied with the services provided especially Pankaj Kohli's heartwarming service was worth admiring. Would certainly recommend.

Got full support with all the queries and hospitality. Everything was superbbbb. Acc to me i may have got the only hotel with parking area with enough space. Washroom and gallery areas of the hotel was very very clean and hygenic. At last the staff named Pankaj kohli was really really superbbb and very supportive. Big thank to him !

Overall everything is very good … Nice place to stay & hang out with family & friends .. Staff are very cooperative … Service is very fast … The size of the rooms are very big and are neat and clean .. It’s a very hygienic hotel … Everyone must visit …

Very good place to stay. We 6 family members stayed in Royal Heritage and they gave us a welcome drink at the outset.This place is very safe and we appreciate their hospitality. Mr Chandresh Bisht Manager was so good and very helpful. I hoisted the National flag on Independence Day since my Dad served in Indian Army and his work place was Chaubattia many years ago. I thank Mr Chandrash who made all arrangements for our sight seeing and we also appreciate their complementary breakfast and dinner which was sumptuous. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

The best hotel in nainital located right in the mid of nainital. Hotel staff and manager chandresh bisht and his is the usp of hotel. They take care with almost attentiveness and make you feel like home. Hotel is 111 years old but newly renovated, rooms are spacious and well maintained food at restaurant is mouth watering. I will recommend this hotel to everyone.
