金合歡樹小屋(Acacia Tree Lodge)

A well resourced lodge with suitable fees, good food and well-mannered , friendly attendants. Acacia Tree Lodge is more than just a lodge. It's serene and silent environment surely will allow you to shape a bit of your plans as you relax before heading out to your safari destinations.

This was our first base in Nairobi, the hotel has a beautiful garden with lots of trees and plants with flowers i had never seen before. The room gave a very cosy feeling. The photos don t do justice to it. The breakfast is simple yet nice. The staff are very gentle polite and friendly. There are books at disposal to warm you to this country, it s culture and wildlife. My favorite part of this lodge is that all benefits go to help children from Kibera neighborhood to go to school. There is also a shop within the compound that sells jewelry hand made by women from the same neighborhood to help them strive. We loved the concept of all of it. The staff were not only friendly but also very helpful. I had seen a copy of the book « Out of Africa » laying there and started reading it, i asked the lady at the reception if i could buy it close by and later a gentleman located a library that had it and called them to secure it. The sell their own signature coffee as well. We really appreciated staying here. The Giraffe Center is in near so is the Karen Blixen Museum famously known to have inspired the movie through her book of the same name « Out of Africa » a must read on your visit to Kenya

Best place to stay in Nairobi/Karen area! We had 17 travelers enjoy their time while staying at Acacia Tree, in Karen. Staff were amazing, and so very accommodating. This is our new home in Kenya. It is also very close to some great parks. The lattes are the best and I couldn't even believe they had decaf espresso... What a gem! Thank you dear staff at Acacia Tree Lodge!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in the acacia tree lodge. The whole staff is really friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner was good, no wishes left. They even had coffe/tea for hotel guests in the afternoon. We can definately recommend the lodge.

I have never stayed anywhere where the staff went over and beyond my expectations. Acacia Tree Lodge does just that. They heard that I had a stiff neck and every night a hot water bottle was on my bed! The food was fantastic and they make great shakes and cappuccinos. The staff is so friendly. The gift shop sells jewelry and handicrafts hand made by ladies in Kibera. I appreciate the fact that the profits of Acacia Tree Lodge goes back into Kibera to help more people to better their lives. I highly recommend to come here and get spoiled!

Bien situé dans le quartier de Karen, calme et verdoyant. Ameublement et équipement soignés, dans le style local. On sent un souci d'authenticité et de respect des hommes et de l'environnement. L'hôtel est engagé dans des actions humanitaires locales. Il y a une boutique des productions des femmes d'une association. Chambres confortables et agréables. Dommage, le couloir est très sonore et résonne des bruits de portes qui claquent et des clés pour les ouvrir. La musique du restaurant pour le petit-déjeuner démarre à 6h30... Petit jardin très soigné. Choix limité au buffet, mais cuisine simple et bonne. Personnel très aimable, souriant et sympathique.

We stayed at the Acacia Tree Lodge for 10 nights at the end of August. The food was amazing, the staff was so nice and courteous and did anything they could for us. Rooms were clean and luxurious. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Steve and his staff went way above and beyond to make our time there as comfortable as possible. I can’t say enough good things about this lodge, you should stay there!!

Very pleasant little hotel in Nairobi. Uncrowded. Relaxed. Note that there is no alcohol served but the hotel can have drinks delivered upon request. The staff is warm and friendly. The hotel is thoroughly clean. Has a open, covered front porch. There is no air conditioning but it was unnecessary during our visit.

The proprietor and staff are always accommodating, and wonderful to work with. wonderful food at the Zeke's Cafe. Acacia Tree Lodge is in a beautiful section of Nairobi, and I have always felt welcomed. The room are great, with large bathroom / showers. Beds are comfortable.
