肯尼亞輕鬆酒店(Easy Hotel Kenya)

I booked a room here very spontaneously as I was coming in late to Nairobi. The road leaving to this place are terrible, especially at night. The drive from JKA takes about 20-25 minutes. At the hotel I was warmly welcomed and brought to my room. It was quite spacious and had all the important hotel stuff (soap, water cooker, Wi-Fi, towels and even a mini-fridge). Although the place looks a bit used, everything was clean. The Breakfast menu is very big and you can choose whatever you like.

We needed a place to stay a night between the flights. Location is convenient with quick access to both airports. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. The hotel arranged for safe and comfortable transfer both ways. The hotel is behind the gates and have security guard on site. We checked in at 4 am in the morning and staff was available and accommodating. The hotel is in the area not suited for walking. Rooms were clean and very different, decorated in colonial style.

Oh dear! After being collected at Nairobi we were taken to the Hotel which is down the sort of streets you would not normally dare go in the dark! Thankfully the hotel is gated and guarded. Reception was pleasant with a welcome juice offered. We were directed to our rooms on the 4th floor...worryingly there were no fire exit instructions anywhere on that floor. Anyway our rooms were nice and clean, a double and a triple. Then it was ruined when we ordered supper in the rooftop "restaurant" I ordered a simple toasted vegetable Sandwich. Well it arrived and the filling was hot Lettuce hot cucumber and tomatoes.. inedible! My friend ordered the vegetable soup which arrived see through with *****e of cucumber floating in it accompanied with 2 hard dry slices of toast. Another 2 meals were tough and inedible so we went to bed fed up and hungry. Oh and don't visit in a wheelchair because they've build the ramp in front of a window! Totally inaccessible.

The nightmare that is Mombasa road led me to book a room in this hotel as it is very close to the airport. At the SGR station, taxi/uber drivers don’t want to go to this hotel as the access road is horrendous and if they do, very expensive. Rooms are ok. Food very expensive - had breakfast one day of tea and slices of sweet potatoes and arrow roots and paid 500/- . Opted to eat out. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My favourite feature was the shower! Absolutely loved it.

The place is awesome, was my second time coming and i will come again

The hotel itself is fine but it's so far down a dirt road that no taxi or Uber were willing to go there. Got stranded for hours. If you have a car, it's OK but don't book if using taxis.

Need better roads to get to hotel

I feel very sorry for the staff working at this hotel. Staff are amazing and very friendly. But the hotel itself is just a big nope. Restaurant service and food are awful. Also, for a burger and a sandwich we had to wait one hour and both were not good at all. Rooms wise... Beds were comfy and air conditioning working properly. But the bathroom was a mess. Flush not working properly, no shampoo and shower gel in the shower. Shower itself very outdated. To get to the room you have to walk in a maze of corridors that are old and leaky
