薩羅瓦麥揚南尼(Sarova Maiyan Nanyuki)

Great location, friendly staff, sizeable Villas! In middle of nature, lots of trees. Not far from Nanyuki and Ole Pejeta reserve. Big swimming pool. Good food selection. Wine selection could be improved. Also some local micro brews like Bila Shaka would be a welcome addition to the drinks menu. Otherwise good times!

The hotel is a bit far from Nanyuki and the roads aren’t the best to get there. Signage to help the customer get there would go a long way. When you eventually get there, the service is good and staff is friendly. Not the best for value of money if thinking premium but it’s fair and the food is good.

Very good customer service, the meals are fresh, tasty and very delicious. Very clean spacious rooms and great staff. At the reception desk, Humphrey was so welcoming and very helpful whenever needed. I will definitely come back again and again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this place, the service, rooms and everything was perfect.The full board buffet was delicious. The rooftop jacuzzi was amazing and my family enjoyed it. I recommend Sarova Mayan and definitely will come again.

Lugar espectacular en general, las habitaciones muy cómodas y limpias, el personal increíblemente amable y atento, la comida y el servicio es de 10. Especial mención a Stephen y Nelson, te recogen y te llevan dónde tú desees y la recepción siempre muy amables y serviciales.

The staff are friendly & the room was clean. The food was also good. The grounds are well manicured & well taken care of. The plunge pool on top of the villa I slept in was neglected & had debris probably because at the time I was visiting there were few guests. It was also not well heated. The jacuzzi are shared but are pretty small & can only accommodate two ppl at a time. I also didn’t like that the room did not have an AC & had echoes. The boat ride provides no value for money. Overall I would recommend the property for work travel & not leisure. The best thing about it are the friendly staff from the gate all the way.

Disappointing

I love Maiyan! I loved the staff, I met, Felister, Martha and Humphrey! They were so kind and took care of our needs. My dad was unwell, Maiyan went out of their way to connect us to a nurse! Humphrey was in charge at the time. I loved every bit of my experience! We gave feedback about having a medical personnel on board and within 24 hrs they had raised it with the management! That was the highlight for me! We also met Fred and Mike who drove us around in the human carts, they were honestly the sweetest people on earth! Love them! The sunset and sunrise was beautiful especially from the rooftop of the Villas oh and the peak of Mt. Kenya was visible at 6:30 ish! So beautiful ! This is a place I would come over and over again! Never gets boring! Maiyan is a solid 10/10😍❤️ oh and did I mention that they grow their own food which is organically produced 😍

The food was amazing. Hotel is far from nearest town meaning if you get there before lunch, it’s only reasonable to be on full board. You get to enjoy awesome food thrice in a day booking! The staff are friendly and helpful. The setup looks to be targeting families travels with kids also catered for. Jacuzzi, what can i say. Stayed there till midnight enjoying myself.
