My partner and I meticulously chose this hotel to commemorate our cherished 1-year anniversary. We envisioned tranquility, a haven where memories could gracefully unfold. Unfortunately, our stay became an agonizing ordeal on multiple fronts. From the outset, we were incessantly disrupted by noise disturbances. The insulation—or the glaring lack thereof—meant that we could hear every single footstep from our upstairs neighbors, transforming their regular movements into thunderous interruptions. The connecting room doors proved to be no barrier at all, as we could distinctly hear every word, every sound from the adjacent guests. The promise of a relaxing stay, a respite from the world, was shattered by the hotel's inadequate infrastructure. This could have been a mere inconvenience, but what followed was unfathomable. We received a chilling call from the housekeeping manager, Rosemarie Alberto, who accused us, with stern conviction, of possessing "crystal meth" in our room. Stunned and reeling, we watched police officers walk into our space, only to identify the suspicious "substance" as my innocuous Celtic salt. One would expect an establishment to recognize, regret, and rectify such a monumental blunder. Instead, they chose to evict us, using our response to Rosemarie's accusatory tone as a pretext. Appeals to the higher management, particularly Sergio Antonio Jimenez Dena, met with apathy and dismissiveness. Prospective guests should be wary. The allure of this place is overshadowed by its structural sound issues, rendering any hope for relaxation moot. Furthermore, our harrowing experience with false accusations and the management's refusal to acknowledge their grievous errors speaks volumes. To those seeking a peaceful, respectful, and memorable stay, I urge you to look elsewhere. Our quest for a cherished anniversary memory resulted in an ordeal that will forever haunt our hearts.

While the resort is very nice i had issues with them billing me twice for my room and even after they agreed they made a mistake they would not credited me back. After 2 months of back and forth i had to contact the Hyatt corporate office to make my refund happen. It was a truly horrible experience and at rates of $1000 per night totally unacceptable!

So beautiful for starters. Staff was thoughtful and looked after guest needs. Staff members were engaged to deliver high levels of service. Extremely nice property! The food was well-prepared and of high quality. Beds were comfortable and very clean. I was impressed with the patio fireplace. Overall the condition of the room was exceptional.

Beautiful property in the heart of Napa Valley that makes getting around a breeze. We wanted to do a quick getaway and this place was wonderful. The staff is courteous and goes out of their way to make sure everything is being taken care. We had a short time and so didn't get to use the pool or spa but the entire property looks very well kept. we really enjoyed our breakfast in the morning and the complimentary wine in the room was welcome. We also booked some of our wine tastings through the Concierge and as guests of the hotel, the wineries comped our tasting. This was a wonderful surprise and one that maybe the hotel can market more. One thing I would like to see is have them include the mini bar and restaurant in the room price so that the room price doesn't seem that exorbitant.

SERVICE (5/5) While I usually start hotel reviews with a property overview, Alila Napa Valley's service rocked so hard that I felt compelled to mention this part of the experience first! + **HUGE THANK YOU** to front office manager Maya! When we faced an unexpected issue, rather than having to sorrowfully cancel as anticipated, Maya went above and beyond to accommodate our stay while maintaining Alila's usual excellent standards for all guests. She even thoughtfully upgraded us to an ADA Vineyard View corner room, which required some ninja room tetris on her part. + Being greeted after a long drive by a friendly valet team as well as wine and fruit-infused water in the cozy check-in room next to Acacia House was so nice! We also appreciated the chilled bottle of Louis Pommery sparkling wine and 1/2 bottle of Markham wine that were waiting in our room. These extra touches made for a festive start to our special occasion celebration. + Thank you to Maricela, who proactively offered wonderful local dining recommendations and even wrote them down for us. Model Bakery's English muffins are as delicious as Maricela (and Oprah) noted! + Resort fee, waived for point stays, included helpful amenities such as valet parking, coffee/tea station, bottled water, 1/2 bottle of wine, $25 mini bar credit (handy for snacks!), and TREK bikes. PROPERTY (5/5) Nestled in St. Helena next to Beringer Vineyards, the compact property is a beautiful mix of the stately Acacia House and modern architecture rooms. + The pool, fitness center, and several nice outdoor lounge areas are all within a 1-2 minute jaunt. I happily took several work calls while basking in the sunshine of the outdoor areas. ROOM (5/5) WOW! Floor-to-ceiling windows, vineyard views, marbled bath, rainforest shower, and large outdoor terrace with fire pit - our first-floor room was spacious and stunning! + We especially enjoyed having coffee together on our terrace looking out on the grapevines. + Votary bath and body products, blackout curtains, and the handy coffee/tea/bottled water station made for a blissful stay. Thank you, Maya, Maricela, and the Alila Napa Valley team for making our stay so memorable!

Absolutely phenomenal experience. Yes, you will pay more for your stay, but your experience at Alila will be one you will never forget. Everything was outstanding….the bed was super comfortable, bathrooms clean and overall amenities were awesome! Service was amazing. Also, I don’t think you could find a better location for Napa Valley!

The staff was so helpful and friendly. I was blown away with the automation in the room and how gorgeous it was. I loved my private patio. The poolside bar was a nice tough and loved I could grab a beer and bring back to my room. Would definitely stay again.

The Alila Napa is an excellent location for a Napa retreat, be it for business or pleasure. Its proximity to downtown St. Helena coupled with being reasonably close to some of the best restaurants in Napa, including Yountville is ideal.

Overall good experience. Clean and friendly staff. Be aware if you book a garden view room you’ll have a view of the parking lot. Felt like we over paid for what we got probably would stay here again.
