I really thought i was staying inside the house when booking . but i was put in a room at the back side . The did switch my room so I could get a balcony with a view . The room was very nice. But the parking lot was noisy and you could here the kitchen staff. The morning had a nice construction truck backing up with that beeping to wake you up. The food was not good very very disappointed for the price. I've had better flat bread pizza at a chain and that is saying a lot. The restaurant staff was wonderful .

The room itself was disappointing. No dresser to put clothes in, one small rack over the refrigerator to hang clothes, very tiny bathroom with no shelves or anything to put your items on. Not what we expected.

Very cute updated rooms! Close to lots of places, although quite a few things seemed to be closed in October- no fault of the hotel, just us not realizing there is an "off season"

We really enjoyed our recent stay at The Shore House. The room was clean and very comfortable. We had a great view of the water, and had a great night of sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again.

Sink is quaint in looks but water splashes onto the floor!! Otherwise it’s clean and comfortable and view of the ocean is gorgeous!!

Wonderful stay and we will definitely do it again. I wouldn’t book it thru ******* though bc you don’t get the room you think you are getting. You end up in a back building motel-like room. We upgraded so that we were actually in the Inn.

Horrible experience. Not worth money. Setting misleading as pictured. Not cottage overlooking beach. Impossible to sleep. So noisy. Tv in room Next door and other noises sounded like they were in the room. Heard people above us constantly. No chair to sit on in room. Not super clean. Very disappointing. I know restaurant is separate but wife was told meal was gluten free and it was not and got very sick.

Liked everything except no excess to the cute studio/lounge which had been taken over by a group

Shower head was very difficult to adjust. Wound up just holding it while showering. Sink was very difficult to use as the ledge over it doesn’t allow for you to bend over to reach the sink. The faucet on the sink was adjustable but we only learned this after it sprayed out of the sink. The bed was very hard and sagged on one side. The screen on the patio door was broken and difficult to move. The padding that serves as a headboard moves in the night and pushes over onto the very small nightstand making a mess.

The view was fabulous the food was and service was great and the maid service was great.

Paying $243. for "Oceanside King with Patio" on a Sunday night, off season, only to discover the room was in a separate building located BEHIND the main establishment. No OCEAN VIEW, first floor room, in a building technically called a MOTEL. "Private" patios and balconys separated by sheets" View only of the parking lot and the back of the Shore House and their kitchen dumpsters/housekeeping equipment. Very disappointing, the young man at the front desk was very helpful, but when my only options were stay in a dark overpriced closet with a bed or PAY AGAIN TO UPGRADE TO THE HOTEL ROOM YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE GETTING IN THE FIRST PLACE! "All booked up, No more rooms, Hurricane outside, Sorry, sorry, sorry". You do see where I'm going with this. So out comes the VISA and I'm PAYING AGAIN. One is never left with a nice feeling when they feel they've been "taken for a ride" or a bit hustled. I I was just looking for some peace and quiet, some time to myself. Ya know, it's not the end of the world. It's just annoying sometimes and then you move on.

Clean, comfortable rooms. We had lunch at the restaurant when we arrived and everything was delicious. Good coffee in the morning, complimentary for guests. Close to the beach, which is exactly what we wanted. You could park your car and walk or bike to everything you'd want to do in Naragansett.

We stayed in a tiny room (#12) that was fine but the mattresses were very uncomfortable! We did not sleep very good for 2 nights. The hotel really needs an upgrade for the beds. They need some hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or clothes otherwise you have to put everything on the floor. They had one rack for a towel. The floors were sandy so I don’t think they had been vacuumed or swept very carefully. The restaurant was ok but very pricey! The people that worked at the hotel were very nice.

The Shore house calls themselves, Oceanside, not to be confused with an Ocean Front… It’s deceptive.
