本尼奧尼陸路度假村的評價

Manque d'entretien dans tous les sens : ménage approximatif, chambre qui aurait besoin d'être refaite, tout semble avoir vécu dans son jus sans trop avoir fait l'objet de rafraîchissement. A l'image des couvertures qui doivent au moins avoir 20/30 ans , on n'en n'a pas trouvé de pareilles dans les autres hôtels. Au delà de ça structure beaucoup trop grande sans cachet, impersonnelle (mais même pas luxueuse). Et pour couronner le pire petit déjeuner de ceux faits en 3 semaines en Ouganda. Personnel peu accueillant et peu souriant, le minimum syndical.

To spory kompleks zabudowań położony bezpośrednio nad Jeziorem Bunyonyi. Dużym plusem tego miejsca jest błogi spokój i dużo przestrzeni z zadbaną roślinnością . Mieliśmy pokoje w głównym budynku ale są też nieduże domki nad samym jeziorem. Pokoje były jasne ,bardzo przestronne i świetnie umeblowane. Pozytywne wrażenie robiła również bardzo duża i funkcjonalna łazienka. Niestety późno w nocy był u nas problem z ciepłą woda .W sumie to idealne miejsce na spokojny wypoczynek .My jednak mieliśmy tu tylko jeden nocleg [ ostatni w Ugandzie] Tak na prawdę ,po przyjeździe mieliśmy od 18.00 godzinną wycieczkę po jeziorze a rano już stąd wyjeżdżaliśmy. Śniadanie trochę nas rozczarowało . Choć było w formie bufetu umówione na godz. 8.00 to niestety było opóźnione i nie do końca należycie przygotowane .Tu jednak ważniejsze od jedzenia są wspaniałe 'okoliczności przyrody".

Het ziet er echt enorm mooi uit, maar ga hier nooit eten. Wij hadden eerst om 19:00 een reservering geplaatst. Vervolgens werd er gevraagd of dit naar 19:30 mocht. Daarna werd er gezegd dat ze wat wij hadden besteld niet meer hadden. Bij vertrek werden wij tegen gehouden met de mededeling dat ze het eten nog wel hadden. Daarna werd er gevraagd of het eten ook om 20:00 mocht. Vervolgens hadden wij om 21:00 nog geen eten en zijn wij weg gegaan.

Holy days are good when you see water 💦 so lakes and rivers are the only places you can get fresh air so you can go in this place for holidays with your family you can find the good food and forgot another things that's why we can choose one place bunyonyi

We have spent three nights at the Overland Resort. The location is very beautiful and the gardens are as well. As almost everywhere, the staff is very kind and puts in a lot of effort. Special thanks to Elliot! The room was clean and we had warm water, only the power supply turns off randomly every now and then. Unfortunately, the food takes very long and tastes okay. The Menue is very diverse. Yet, a lot of the dishes were not available, as well as Milk for breakfast, which they restocked after complaining. Due to off-season, the hotel did permanent maintenance work without having informed us beforehand. That led to a lot of noise during the day and also while eating. If they would have warned about it online, we could have had the chance to avoid coming here. Also, the villages around tend to play loud music until the late hours, so unfortunately, we did not get to find the rest we were hoping to. All in all it was ok, but if you are coming to find quiet as we did, you should consider going somewhere else. Since we can't give 2.5 stars, we will rather give 3 than 2.

Bunyonyi Overland Resort is located in a nice spot with a wonderful view of Lake Bunyonyi. The facilities and restaurant are satisfactory and the bungalow we stayed in was very decent. The staff are very helpful and polite! I would recommend it!

This hotel is truly a resort facility, not the usual safari lodge. Set on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi, the views are spectacular! The room where we stayed was similar to a standard western hotel. It was spacious and clean, but the beds a bit lumpy. We had the misfortune to arrive with a group of partying 20-somethings who celebrated with great gusto in the next room until 4 in the morning, so it’s difficult to call our stay restful. We wished during the night that we had a method of contacting staff to intercede on our behalf with the neighbors, as we were reluctant to confront them. The food, however, was wonderful, the gift shops well-stocked with all things Uganda, and the staff were helpful and pleasant, even coming to our room after hours to help us figure out how to get some hot water. I can imagine that under different circumstances, it would be a nice place to stay.

Was here to attend the Bunyonyi Marathon. A lovely, scenic but brutal run up and down the hills of Kigezi, overlooking the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi. This marathon only gets better. This year they had this lovely medal and the most colourful tees. The service on the route was excellent as was the after run camaraderie.

Nice hotel by the shores of Lake Bunyonyi. The hotel ground is spacious with various types of accomodation available. There is an option of taking rooms which are self contained or rooms with shared bathrooms. The showers of the self contained rooms are relaxing. Front office team should be a bit more friendly, though the guy was helpful but too serious for service industry. The hotel rooms are also quite expensive for what you get (old style design and amenities), they should also consider discounting the rates when a large group of people stay at the premises. Overall, good hotel but very expensive for what you get.

This was the largest place we stayed - situated on the Bunyonyi lakeside. They had everything - wooden huts, rooms in a hotel, camping area, tents on stilts and en-suite stone cabins. We were in a stone cabin at the very far end of the resort which had a lovely view over a bit of the lake. From here you could explore the area, take a boat ride, go for a guided walk, swim in the lake (brrrrr - but someone did!!!) or just sit and appreciate the place. We even saw some otters in the lake while we did just that. It seemed quiet when we stayed but if all the rooms were taken it would be buzzing with activity. Good or bad depending how you like your atmosphere. Our room was big and had a good hot shower. No mosquito net here but we didn't get eaten so assume it was not such a problem in this area. The restaurant had a great view too over the lake with several areas you could sit - inside up or down and outside too during the day. They also lit a fire pit outside in the evening which was nice to sit next to and let your dinner go down. Food and service excellent quality and all freshly prepared (so can take a while) and they seemed to be running out of some of the things on the menu (think we were at the end of the main season) but there was plenty of choice so no problems. All in all a great place to stay.

We stayed at the resort 2 days during our safari to Uganda. The first impression was good, the place is big and has several different buildings and accommodations. It is clearly a “resort” build to accommodate several people, and our visit was probably out of season. The expectations we got coming into the area were however not meet during our stay. The team of staff seemed disorganized, they were friendly, but seemed as if they did not really know what to do and how to do it. The restaurant is big, has a nice view over the lake. The ala carte menu had several options, but a lot was sold out. The food was not good, we got I.e. fish which clearly was not fresh. We had to wait extremely long ( more than 30 min) for our food to be served even though we had ordered several hours before. The food for our table was not served at the same time which to us is awkward. The room was spacious, had a good bath with hot water. We had a balcony with a good view over the lake.

Very nice located lodge. Amazing view of the lake. Very good and friendly staff. Tasty food in a restaurant. Special greetings for Violet.

Everything at the place is so good the care, the attention, it's climatic condition and the place is so clean favourable for human life and well being. This place due to its good services the moment you reach there you don't want to leave the place. Thanks

Overland is located right on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi with expansive views of the hills and a jetty that goes straight into the lake, a perfect spot for diving. The rooms are well decorated and fitted with big comfortable beds and huge bathroom with hot water. This is perfect as it's quite cold around Bunyonyi. The food was impeccable and the service was on point! We will definitely be back and recommend Bunyonyi Overland Resort to anyone who's visiting the area.
