The space
Indulge in 5,000 square feet of beachfront luxury at Palm Villa located at Idle Awhile resort's The Villas collection. Tucked beneath the palm trees just off Seven Mile Beach in Negril, this gorgeous vacation rental is only steps from Jamaica’s famed white sands and turquoise waters. Invite up to ten guests for a tropical getaway, family reunion or even a decadent honeymoon at this fully staffed property.
Your holiday at Palm Villa includes the services of a chef, butler and housekeeper, as well as the use of water sports equipment like kayaks and sailboats. Guests over 18 are welcome at the fitness center at the Couples Swept Away resort. Palm Villa also has its own private pool, surrounded by a terrace with plenty of loungers, a breezy outdoor living area and a shaded al-fresco dining room.
The home’s relaxed, open interiors make it easy to socialize or spend a quiet afternoon reading. Open the double-doors or wood-trimmed windows in the living room to let in breezes from the outdoor dining area, stretch out on the comfortable, citrus-hued sectional, or gather around the bar for refreshments. Though chef service is included in your stay, the villa has a fully equipped kitchen with both a breakfast bar and a breakfast nook.
Each of the five bedrooms at Palm Villa has a king bed, en-suite bathroom, private terrace and ocean views. Details like four-poster beds, vaulted ceilings and wicker accent furniture give the bedroom suites an appeal that’s traditional yet comfortable.
Though the oceanfront location, five-star service and thoughtful amenities make it tempting to simply stay at Palm Villa, the property is only a 5-minute walk from shopping, dining and nightlife options. For a stroll on a different beach, make the short drive to Orange Bay; for a uniquely Jamaican experience, head to the colorful waters of Blue Hole Mineral Spring.
