Great location, fabulous service & the best beach in the world!

Not a 5 star or even a 4 star hotel

We requested specific accommodations that changed AFTER the reservations were confirmed. The pull-out sofa wasn't a pull-out sofa. The internet ONLY worked outside of the room...it took me two hours and 40 minutes to connect and keep an internet connection long enough to book another flight home. We both had deadlines and planned to work part of the trip as business owners. However, the deadlines were placed on hold due to the lack of internet connectivity inside the room. The television channels were barely accessible due to the lack of internet connectivity. We immediately went to the front desk to complain and request another room but were told they didn't have more rooms available. We were informed this was not true by one of the staff. We left two days early due to the lack of amenities promised and had the nerve to want to charge us $190.00 extra dollars. The manager was argumentative during our checkout. There were a host of additional issues that I will not mention. The only upside was the dinner had a delicious selection of food with desserts, and the restaurant was clean. I will NEVER visit again...not even if I was offered a free vacation!!!!

Some staff weree very friendly and courteous- chef Gary, Alecia, Security Sanya, Anna Kay, Kerri Ann, Lisa, Rachel and others. Special candelight dinner planned for my friends 30th wedding anniversary did not happen. That was very dissapointing. Reservations did not communicate with dining. Except for dining staff most others do not acknowledge guests. Our Bellhop who greeted us on arrival and took us to our room was very nice... I think gis name was Calmore. All in all I would definately recommend this hotel and visit again.

Azul resort had a beautiful beach that was well kept. The front desk staff was rude and not very welcoming. The check out staff this morning Keisha, was rude. She did not ask us about our stay nor did she thank us for staying at the resort. The overall staff was just ok. No one went out of their way or above and beyond. People barely cracked a smile, said good morning or hello. The most friendly staff was the entertainment and bartenders. Particularly Cedrick and Sheryl and Keneta! The rooms were clean, I just wish the patio area with the cabanas at the swim outs were cleaned and maintained. We were told the mini bar would be restocked daily but it was not. Seems like if you were a Prestige client, you received the best service while the others were not cared about. Overall, we had a great trip but I was underwhelmed by the lack of friendly customer service!

We loved Azul Negril. It was our first time in Jamaica and everyone in this resort gave us a reason to return in the future, to this very resort. The people were so friendly, sweet, kind, and helpful, from the lobby and concierge to the servers, and everyone in between from the bartenders to the water sports team, everyone was so nice. The food was amazing, which is sometimes may not be the case for all-inclusive resorts. The rolls were clean and comfortable. The beach was clean and so pretty with soft white sand, and the resort is right on the beach no matter what building you stay on. There are cabanas on the beach in front of almost every building, which is awesome because you will always be able to find an open one! If you visit Negril, please stay here! You won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back!!

The staff was amazing! They were extremely helpful with any request made. The spa was exceptionally pleasant with the ambiance they provided. We appreciated our swim up option. The Beans dessert and cafe area was our personal favorite! We did wish there would have been a few more options for food. The provided food buffet had a limited variety. The Ackee & Italian restaurants were outstandingly delicious!

I arrived on a Thursday, there were no towels in my room, I got towels the next day. When they cleaned my room they didn’t leave me any washcloths. I never had hot water in the shower. They never fixed it or offer me another room. The refrigerator bever hot cold. I checked w other residents and they stated their refrigerator never got cold either. I noticed a lot of left over food was served at breakfast. So i wonder when other guests got sick if it was because of left over food. Good...the restaurant staff was great, all the workers I came in contact with was gracious.

We stayed 5 nights at this property after staying 2 nights in Montego Bay. The grounds are kept up beautifully and the staff is very friendly. Dean the bell man is awesome!! He contacted a ride for us to Ricks Cafe which is a must do while in Negril. One downfall is you have to get up really early to put your towel out at the beach. Bathrooms could use a better door as there were sliders and not a lot of privacy from bathroom to bedroom area.
