The nicest staff, very friendly and polite, made our stay very comfortable. Super clean rooms and property very well maintained. Short walk to Diggers Club for a meal. A little gem away from the hustle of the busy town centre. Excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend for a budget get away.

Just what we were looking for and found, as usual, by reading Tripadvisor reviews!!!!! As we are now VERY aged travellers specially me, with my newly acquired walking stick, we really NEED somewhere where we can spend a few days now and then in one of our favourite places not too far from home! And from all I could read in Tripadvisor, this was going to be it!!! I booked through the property and spoke to Kam, mentioning that we needed somewhere where our car was close to the room and when we arrived a couple of hours early we popped in to check if the room might be ready earlier and met Kam, who greeted us with the remembered Thai hospitality and we could check in right away! She had allocated us the beautiful room 3 which had everything we wanted! Two comfortable beds, an excellent bathroom with rails in the right place, big TV and all we need to 'eat at home' and so near to Shoal Bay and all our favourite eateries!!!! All with beautiful Thai decor!!!!!! Yes, we have booked for later in the year!!!!! Extremely well priced for us too. Many thanks Kam and looking forward to seeing you again.

Customer Service and discrimination. We arrived tired after driving down from Brisbane and arriving in the Port Stephen area at 3pm most places were already fully booked. I am disabled and terminally Ill so I can’t keep jumping in and out of the car checking for availability. The sign said vacancies and the car park was empty apart from 2 cars. I asked my 22 year old son who is my full time carer to see if there was any rooms. The man was very rude and abrupt and told him the property had no availability. Yet I could have booked online on their website, on bookings.com and other sites. We then witnessed another car pull in and ask for accommodation and he said yes to them. I presume it was because he thought my son was with a friend or because he didn’t want disabled people in his motel anyway we definitely won’t return

The Admiral Nelson Motor Inn was clean and comfortable unfortunately.in the family Room. number 8 had an extremely. loud toilet so when flushed during the night it would. wake everyone in the room. The other issue was that a room that could sleep four people only had three power points one in the kitchenette area and two in the bathroom for a family with multiple phones and laptops it was totally unsatisfactory.

Arrived and met with a very friendly reception staff, rooms very clean and comfortable bed. We had an upstairs room with small balcony which provided fresh air through the room, AC/C available but fresh air sufficient. Close to Shoal Bay 15 min walk similar to Nelson Bay 3 mins to Beaches. Could not fault .
