Candlewood Suites 紐伯恩(Candlewood Suites New Bern)

Room is spacious and clean -- but about double the rate that oughta be charged. Just ridiculous.

When I arrived for check-in the customer service representative was polite friendly and informative. However upon entering my room I noticed there was a lot of noise going on what sounded like next door to my room so I called the front desk and asked was there any construction going on next door to my room because it was awfully noisy. She then told me that there was construction being done on the third floor. I was on the first floor and the noise sounded like it was next door to my room. She assured me they would be finished by 5pm and they were but we're back at it again in the morning. If they were on the third floor and I was on the first floor and it was that noisy, I'd hate to hear what it was like on the second floor. Shower floor was in poor repair. Cracked and sinking.

Overall everything was nice and clean. The hotel was convenient for shopping and dining. The waterfront wasn't too far.

Stay was just ok. No breakfast offered. Beds were not very comfortable. We visit New Bern a lot. Will definitely find another place to stay next time.

There were no cuts in the curb to the entrance to allow bags to be rolled in of for wheelchairs for that matter.

This property needs a refresh. However, I can’t stress enough how kind and friendly the staff was!

Property rooms were under construction and smelled of paint.

Staff friendly, beds was not good. No toilet paper in the room. Cleaning of bathroom room could had been cleaner especially the toilet.

Trip was cancelled last minute. Was charged for 1 night, as expected. Could not get a receipt from either ******* or the hotel.
