I had to stay at this hotel for work. The staff seemed friendly when checking in. I went into my room (room 207), noticed stains on my bedspread. Ignored it and got settled in. I went to plug my phone charger in and noticed some odd stains on the nightstand next to the bed. At first I thought maybe someone had spilled a drink, but then noticed the same stains in the other nightstand on the side facing the bed. It almost looks like dried blood. I asked the staff to change rooms and was told that "my people" took all of the single non-smoking rooms. There were only 6 cars in the parking lot. I was offered a smoking room, but it's 2023 and no one wants to breath that in. There were no other options given. So I spent the night in a murder room. Not impressed and the next time I am in the area for work I will drive the extra 45 minutes for a cleaner hotel.
