紐黑文鄉村套房酒店(New Haven Village Suites)

Unfortunately our non smoking room smelled badly of cigarette smoke. The carpet seemed dirty and general space was outdated.

La zone où est située l hôtel n est pas très rassurante. Les deux messieurs à l accueil très sympas. Appartement pas mal mais intérieur pas très propre. Tout était gras…nous avons dû relaver la vaisselle et meubles gras aussi.

This place was very disappointing. It’s more like low income housing. The pictures are nothing like the place. It’s a catfish. As soon as we walked into our room it wreaked of smoke, supposed to be a non smoking property. There was no water in the toilet and couldn’t flush. No microwave as the description says and pictures show. Don’t expect stainless steel appliances like the pictures show either. All old white appliances. Furniture was all scratched. We wound up leaving, didn’t even stay the night. Did not feel safe.

I rented 3 rooms. Two of them were as shown in the pictures online for the most part. The one I needed to stay in with my grandchildren was not. No pots or utensils, plates or silverware. No sheets on pullout couch and no mattress cover at all. Broken chair in the kitchen, bathroom old and dirty, garbage overflowed outside the room for 2 days, no maid service EVER came by. Honestly so disappointing. My grandson and my son fell from the broken chair and hurt themselves. There was a really nice and helpful maintenance worker who helped clean up the trash on Monday and also helped in the kitchen. We had to order out for Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas dinner instead of cooking as we planned and it was very expensive. When I called to ask for pots there were none. When I called to ask for sheets they only had 1 worker and I had to walk in the freezing cold to get them. While we made this work for us due to lack of availability of rooms, it was definitely not as presented and not what I paid for. Also the fireplace was locked up and didn’t work.

The outside of the property looks ok, as do the pictures on the web. The inside of the room I was in, however, was in very sad shape. Stains on the carpet in the bathroom, obvious water damage, and old old kitchen. I did not feel super safe, staying alone, with door opening directly to the outside and room on the exterior of the property, ground floor.
