We arrived to check in to find a guest in the lobby yelling and cursing on his cell phone. Not entirely the hotel's fault, but definitely not a good look. After they requested more information than I have ever needed to present at a hotel (both of our cell numbers??) we got our key. We were put in the back, last room. Parking was a bit dark. Upon arriving at our room, we saw an intoxicated barefoot man wandering around the walkway, hanging over the railing, staring into the abyss. We opened the door and turned on the overhead light, which began flashing like a Las Vegas nightclub. Not feeling safe or comfortable, my boyfriend went to change rooms immediately. While he was gone, Mr. Barefoot lingered outside my window. Scary. He returned to say there were no more rooms and they were moving us to another hotel, which I already knew to be unsafe and unclean based on reviews. We requested a refund, but were then told they did in fact have rooms available and would move us. At that point, I asked again for a refund. After several denied requests, they refunded us for only the second night. Unacceptable.
