Do not book with this hotel. They will make a reservation and provide confirmation number but when you show up, they will tell you that you do not have a room. After traveling all day, we arrived after 9pm to be told we do not have a room. While I was trying to figure out why I did not have a room the owner( he made sure to let me know he was the owner) expressed that he did not care, it was not his problem and that I needed to contact Choice because there was a problem in the reservation system. Sir, this seems like something YOU should be taking care of, not your customers. He then accused me of 'just making the reservation that hour' which was not true but even if it was, why would that matter? He was unwilling to even look at my confirmation number or anything. I was left stranded in the middle of nowhere without a room or any assistance. Do not book here. Go anywhere else.

I had to crawl on the floor to turn on 3 lamps. 1 lamp will not work. No plugs to charge phone except the alarm clock. It is the slowest charger on earth. Had to plug phones in bathroom. Couch is ripped. This is a choice hotel and it falls below my expectations of even choice. Guess I got my $60 worth.

This place has seen better days. It appears to be built in the 1950s and patched up during the years going forward. Who ever painted the interior rooms needs glasses and painting lessons. It requires an overall renovation to bring it up to par with other Quality Inns.

Rooms clean but dated. Bathroom was clean and more modern. Hallways were dirty with well stained carpet, all the doors well-worn and in need of paint or replacement. Good location, quick access to the highway or a short walk to quaint, historic business district.

After driving over 8hrs we checked in a little over 11:30pm, we go straight to our room, untuck a bed and it had bed bugs! We left immediately, they stated we could not get a refund until after Tuesday that a manager is available to review the case. We booked through Priceline who also declined to give me a refund until they speak to the manager. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH.

We were not informed that the pool had no water and was closed until after checking in. Upon entering the room we noticed very unsanitary surfaces and dirty sheets. The door had been kicked in at one point and never repaired. My husband (accidentally) was able to enter someone else’s room with our room key. Front desk refused to refund us because we entered the rooms.

Nobody came to help me and my family? And everyone looked like they were on their last strand of life. Like it’s not my fault your childhood was terrible and you have to work at the trashiest hotel in Virginia. 1/10 never coming back 😘

I did not have a very good first impression of this property when I pulled up and the grumpy older lady and the front desk did not help either. There was no warm and inviting personality there. It was more like I was bothering her. The property is in desperate need of upgrades and repairs. The outside and hallways just felt dirty and abused. I will say the room was very clean. The bed and sheets were comfortable. Apparently, my non smoking room was next door to the smoking rooms, so you know how that went. The bathtub was worn and looked it was original to when the property was built. My room faced the pool, so it was noisy from the pool and also the interstate. Overall, it served the purpose for a one night stay, but I would not stay there again, if the need arises.

Terrible service at this Quality In. There is an old man who works the counter and is very rude and he thinks he tough and should change his attitude toward customers. Unbelievable how rude this man was

My friends and I just stayed here for two nights. We were in the area visiting Luray/Shenandoah area and booked last minute, and this was one of the only places that had availability. We were very hesitant after reading some of the Google reviews but decided to take a chance. Our room actually looked nicer than the photos we saw online so that was a plus. Bathroom was very outdated & appeared to have black mold in the shower but I’ve seen worse. It did the job. The TV was very staticky so it was hard to see to watch anything, and there appeared to also be black mold on the wall near the windows and air conditioner. Didn’t see any bugs so that was great. I think the biggest letdown was how horrible the beds were. So uncomfortable. Very stiff and you could feel the springs poking you every time you move. Definitely didn’t get much sleep and woke up with back pain which wasn’t much fun after having an exhausting day. Also - we picked this hotel for the free hot breakfast but there wasn’t much to choose from, and there was nothing hot besides a waffle maker. No eggs, bacon, sausage etc. Just cereal, yogurt, waffles, bagels and muffins. Kind of disappointing but it was cheap and I guess you get what you pay for. It was a decent place to stay and was 20 minutes from attractions like Luray caverns, and 40 minutes from Shenandoah National park. Lots to do and lots of places to eat nearby so the location was very convenient. The staff was very nice. It was also very quiet.

Yes I would stay again. Inexpensive stay. Pool. Close to restaurants and attractions with Mountain View’s Friendly helpful staff. Restaurants are within walking distance or driving close to three different caverns. Abd the Shenandoah valley attractions

It was late, we were tired and already tried many hotels that were fully booked. It was back to school for the university in Harrisonburg so most of all hotels in the area had no vacancy. This is on us for not booking in advance. We walked in, although the clerk at the service desk was crazy busy, he took the time to help us. He was very nice to have accommodated us. There weren’t many rooms available and the one we got was in need of much love. Everything is outdated and needs fixing but, for an overnight stay, it did the job. The bed was comfortable; the sofa-bed not so much. The breakfast was good but it was missing some protein (no eggs, bacon and/or sausages) The amenities were ok. We didn’t try the pool but it was busy. The vending machine near the lobby had almost nothing left. The ice machine near the pool had a hard time. Overall, it was ok for an overnight stay and the customer service was great but the entire place in in great need of improvement. I wouldn’t stay here again.

An older motel that needs improvement. Room was clean, but toilet leaked. There was a spider IN the bed. They gave us another room, but the toilet squealed when filling. Breakfast was okay. Pool was clean. Play area for the kids looked good but older, Price was fair.
