Room was great, staff were great up until the last day when the lift was not working and we were told by the front desk they "don't have a magic 8 ball" to know when it would be back. Leaving us stuck on the 3rd floor with 4 cases and no offer of assistance. The Room service was poor, the quality was ok but when they said it was delivered it turned out it was infact at a different hotel, not quite sure how that constitutes room service, again there was no apology or compensation it was just delivered 10/15 minutes later kind of warm.

We got in the car this morning from the hotel valet bringing it to the front and we noticed that the gas tank was full (we did not fill it up) and there was an event ticket sitting in the cup holder which was an event at 8pm on 9/6. We dropped the car keys off yesterday afternoon around 2 at the hotel front desk and did not use the rest of the day. It had about 3/4 tank of gas in it when we left it with the hotel. To us it seems like someone used our car yesterday afternoon/night. Very suspicious with the gas filled up and the event ticket sitting in the cup holder. It is very concerning when you leave your vehicle and expect it to be safe and taken care of. That’s why I used the valet and didn’t try to find my own public parking.

Aunque esta bien ubicado...cerca de lugares para comer y tener el servicio de trolley justo en frente, los alrededores de la propiedad estan sucios y descuidados.

Staff mostly indifferent Bed OK - pillows terrible Housekeeping failed to show up most days even if you request them

My fiance was stuck in their elevator for an hour and 15 minutes. When staff were first notified, they were not aware of their proper procedures or protocol and had to get the 800 number for the “elevator guy.” My fiance was hot and had anxiety from the small space and after about 20 minutes, I called 911. We realized that firefighters were trained for these situations and knew they could get him out. The GM was present when I called 911 and didn’t know he should call 911 as soon as an emergency of this caliber happened. Neither did his staff. They came up and told us they had no idea but thought about it. So the elevator guy came about 3 hours after the hotel was notified and if we had not called 911, he would’ve been in there for 3 hours. The GM offered to comp us the room, but I have yet to see any comp or phone calls. Not a satisfied customer at all. Would never stay here again.

I really enjoy my stay during my time at Courtyard Marriott and everyone was very polite and helpful there as well. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting N.O. in the future.

Room was not to my satisfaction compared to the Nopsi and the intercontinental Hotel Also no complementary drinks and goodies.
