There were some good things- but all were overshadowed by the piss poor treatment from the manager of the hotel Miss Kelley.
We found a bed bug on the towels provided. I pinched the bug in the towel and took it to the front desk. Lady at the desk arranged for a new room, told me the manager would be in tomorrow for further compensation, and told me to toss the bug with the towel on the trash.
Next evening when I spoke with the manager she told me there was nothing she could do for refund as it was booked through a third party, and that since she didn’t see the bug herself that there would be no compensation anyway. I explained to her I brought it to the desk and was told to toss it, she repeated- I didn’t see it so there’s nothing I can do for you. She told me they checked the room and found no bed bugs so I didn’t deserve any compensation.
I wonder- did it come from the laundry room on the towels then? Did they check there?? I don’t know, but she didn’t seem to care.
Like I said there were some good things about the stay but the treatment received from the manager trumps them all. She had attitude before I even spoke to her. Terrible way to treat guests and for this reason I would NOT recommend you stay at this hotel. There are many others all around that area that looked very nice, and may have much more hospitable management.
