The shower did not have enough pressure so it was hard to feel clean/get soap out. Another friend's shower had too much power and sprayed hard in multiple crazy directions. The vanity mirror light did not work in most of the rooms our friends had but it did in ours. And the lighting in the rooms is very minimal so that mirror is necessary. The street was sometimes closed off due to construction so Lyft drivers were easily confused, but sometimes it wasn't. We woke up one morning at 8 am to the sound of a jack hammer right outside the window. It didn't stop that morning but the lady at the front desk did call and make sure it didn't happen again which we very much appreciated. When we checked in, there was a water station in the lobby. It broke and they did not set up another one, but said we would need to go to the main hotel to get water. There were a lot of negatives but the rooms themselves are very large and lofty (as the name suggests). It has a TON of potential but needs better service/management.

Une chambre vraiment immense à la deco moderne. Emplacement vraiment top à 2 pas de canal Street et du French QUarter Nous avons presque tout fait à pied même Garden District Un peu de bruit de la rue cependant mais raisonnablement Pour la vue ville, je ne pourrai pas dire vu que nous étions au 1er étage et donc vue sur le mur d’en face .. mon seul bémol est que c’est une annexe de l’hôtel IH et qu’il n’y a pas de réception, pas de personnel sur place Il faut faire le Check in et le Check out dans l’hôtel situé dans la rue à côté. C’est mal indiqué on a beaucoup cherché Sinon je recommande

Check in was confusing wasn't informed had to check in at the sister hotel. Air conditioning quit working they moved us to another room at the sister hotel, the International and that air conditioner quit as well so had to move again. Stayed 3 nights two were HOT.

Our room did not have a functioning iron and coffee maker. The window shade was broken and not replaced, just left on the slide with a thin curtain covering the window. The TV was placed by the side of the bed, a very awkward location. We did not have a microwave, only plus - the staff at the International House were courteous and able to heat our food up. The best part of this hotel, it was in close proximity to tourist locations.

Do NOT recommend. I’ll give them one star for the aesthetic…other than that it’s garbage. You have to check in at a completely different hotel then you have to find the loft which does not have a sign. The attendant at check in was amazing, but past him everything else was awful. There is no parking for the hotel so I had to pay an additional $40 for parking. The entire first floor of this hotel is abandoned… amenities mentions a bar, but don’t expect that because it is completely empty and cleared out. There was not a SOUL on the first floor. Just an empty bar and an air mattress. Then you get to your room where the floors are nasty and sticky. The giant studio light that was in the room had a busted bulb so that couldn’t even be used. It was extremely humid so I woke up dripping sweat multiple times. Along with hearing every footstep the person in the other room is taking. The showers are AWFUL. Not even enough water pressure to knock the dust off of you. No shower door so every shower you flood the whole bathroom and shiver the entire time. bath tub was great other than the fact the water came out looking like milk. No drink machines no vending machines. There’s a mini fridge but it comes empty. Stay ANYWHERE else other than here.

Thought according to the pictures we would have a balcony or something to access the outside area. Wasn’t at all like we expected.

we got the room that was smaller and did not had a bathtub, even though we deliberately asked for it. front desk stuff was extremely rude and said it's not his problem, before starting to curse at me and my wife. the worst experience we ever had in hotel. DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING THERE!

The advertised coffee service was across the street, and always cold, no matter what time. The rooms were never cleaned properly, no matter how many times we requested. We were told " due to low booking level, there is no housekeeping in the afternnoons. I would never stay in this hotel again, or recommend it to anyone.
