Great location with no worries about parking. Tour bus stops at the hotel with stops near all major attractions. Extremely convenient for getting around the city. Hotel staff all extremely helpful. Building is beautifully converted station. We will definitely return in the future.

This place…just wow!! It exceeded my expectations. Gregory greeted us at check in with a warm welcome and even had recommendations for dining ready for us. He worked most afternoons/nights while we were there and he always made sure we had a great day and wanted to hear all about what we had done in the city that day. Not only was the staff so friendly and welcoming but the room was fantastic! We had a really cool view of the cemetery/city, it was spacious, and well decorated. To be honest, I was hesitant about staying here when there are so many great choices but I liked the idea of being close enough to walk easily to the French Quarter but not being in the middle of it. The location was fantastic! It was easy to get to and there was a bus stop right out front as well as a street car stop a short walk away. I’ve already recommended several people here! If/when we go back to New Orleans we will definitely be staying here again!

This is a delightful and unusual space. The first floor is a tourist/informational spot for the old Basin St Station, but once you are checked in, you breeze by all the tourists for the elevator (or stairs) to your room on the floors above. The room we had (two queens) was surprisingly large, with a spacious shower and bathroom. But do treat your stay here like an inn or a B&B, as there is no restaurant on site and the gift shop coffee stand closes early. Having said that, it was very nice to stay in a neighborhood that was NOT the French Quarter and yet steps away. (If you stay here, do check out the coffeeshop/cafe Backatown Coffeeshop just on the other side of the cemetery.

What a gem! I have been to Nola probably 10+ times in my life and this is by far the best place I have stayed in. Also reasonably priced parking as well that is monitored by security. Mr Gregory in at the front gives you excellent recommendations. I ate at new places that he recommended and he is so friendly. All of the staff was, but Mr Greg was my favorite. They give you a supply of extra towels and some toiletry items in in your room. The SPACE in these rooms. I couldn't believe it. The doors also are locked after 5 pm so you felt safe. I absolutely will stay here again!

We were completely unfamiliar with New Orleans and chose to stay here based on reviews and price. We would absolutely come back! We felt safe with the numerous key card check points, the room was clean and the location was great. Easy walk to the french quarter and close to the interstate if you're visiting other places. Mr. Gregory was extremely knowledgeable and the lady who who helped with check out was equally as kind. Parking was easy and half the price of other places we looked into. If we were visiting this part of town again, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Recently converted to a boutique hotel, this place is the greatest. We look for price, location, location, parking. It is within walking distance of just about anywhere in the French Quarter. We just let our car sit most of the time. And no Valet Parking, park in the lot right beside the hotel for $20 a day and you can come and go as you wish. Believe me this is a real bargain. And the hotel itself is very reasonably priced especially for such large and luxurious rooms. You feel so safe here, but if you really want to feel sketchy about your surroundings, its only a few minutes walk to Bourbon Street. We walked from here to the Ghost Tour, the Jazz Preservation Hall, The Riverboat Ride, The Gray Line tours, the Cooking Demonstration, and several other trips just to see different things. I don't want to talk this place up too much, because I might want to come again and I don't want to be responsible for it going way up in price, like it should.

Probably one of the best places we've stayed in! Our room, #208, was huge and the view out one set of windows looked at St Louis Cemetery #1. It was awesome! Super clean room and Stagg was incredibly friendly and helpful. Location was perfect!

I throughly enjoyed my four night stay at this boutique hotel, it is conveniently located in downtown New Orleans. The Frontdesk Manager Roneisha and Mr Greg were very professional and super friendly. I definitely plan to stay here again.

This place is a true gem! Mr. Gregory at the front desk is a wealth of information on all things NOLA, I wish I had more time to see all of the wonderful places he suggested, maybe next time! A conversation with Me. Gregory is a MUST! He is so nice and kept us laughing! Aside from the hotel being beautiful and conveniently located, we will be back because Mr. Gregory made us truly feel welcomed and now I must see all these other fantastic locations in town!

This hotel is wonderful. It's close to many things that tourists would want to do in New Orleans (French Quarter, Riverwalk, etc.). It's the hub for a cemetery tour, hop-on hop-off bus, and visitor information. The hotel itself is very quiet, clean, and comfortable. The bed was SO nice and housekeeping refreshed and restocked our room every day. I would stay here again!

We started out our wonderful journey from the Brakeman Hotel. And Gregory Robertson was a huge part of our journey . Thanks for everything . From the Caesar dome to The French quarters and the people it was just amazing. And can’t forget the Convention center.

Eric at The Front Desk was very helpful! Booking was easy and straightforward. Loved the room , and all of the activities that the hotel provided! Me and the kids had a phenomenal stay. 10/10 recommend. Also their cafe, is great i recommend their lemonade!
