DO NOT STAY HERE! The website looks great but the hotel is actually in terrible shape. The overpriced rooms are akin to prison cells. The room we were assigned to had peeling paint. It was the size of a closet. The door did not lock. The bathroom door did not close. The bathroom was essentially a toilet in a shower stall. The hallway walls had holes in them. The room they moved us to after we complained twice had a filthy old couch covered with a blanket to conceal the shabby shape it was in. The paint was hanging off the ceiling in the bathroom. The faucet was hanging on by a thread. The flushing mechanism on the toilet was busted. Lightbulbs in the overhead fixture were out. Housekeeping couldn't manage to clean the sink or the bathroom mirror. Shall I go on? The staff agreed with all our comments and encouraged us to write to Lark and tell them what a dreadful hotel this is. There are other lovely places to stay on the island that are way less expensive than this dump. They should be ashamed of themselves.

So let's start with the positives: - great location near Ferry, restaurants, shops et - Nice beach vibe in hotel lobby / porch/ outdoor seating area - Service from front desk/ housekeeping/ coffee shop was very good And the negatives: - room felt cheap and run down. everything from the paint, to the stains on the furniture, to the poorly setup bathroom - We paid an average of $1000/ night, total of over $2300 for 2 nights including resort fees and taxes for a bedroom/ sitting room We won't be back. Definitely recommend folks look into other options... either pay less or find something that justifies these kinds of rates

Had a great stay at the hip, cool Beach House in BI. Though the room was on the smaller side (king ocean view) there was space to store everything for a weeks stay. Under the bed there was a storage drawer which was key, The bed was super comfy, great shower and anything we needed the staff was happy help one day the string to our blinds broke and they fixed it within minutes. Great staff everyone is super upbeat and friendly. Loved the food + drinks outside overlooking the ocean. Used the chairs one day too on the beach great service with a smile. We love BI and now have a new favorite place to stay right in the heart of everything. Thanks for a great week!

Sadly, this is our second stay and the quality of the stay has gone down, significantly. Breakfast was introduced this year and should be offered at a discount or included for guests of the resort. The food was very poor quality. Avocado toast should be made with avocados not guacamole. For a boutique hotel, it is over priced with few amenities. Staff was not friendly or helpful. Often, they did not know how to accommodate gluten free options and did not greet guests. There weren’t any more chairs when we arrived at the beach. Coffee was not served until 8:00 am. There are some people who would like this by 7:00. Like I said, for the price, I expected more. I will likely not be returning.

This hotel is WAY overpriced for what it is… The service is lacking, and the rooms leave lots to be desired. Nothing like what is pictured online. We spent time at the pool, although the pool bar seemed to be closed and/or opened with no one working - no food or drinks were being served, despite a menu listing options. The pool was closed right after it opened on our last day because it appeared there was a poop in it from the day before that the staff hadn’t noticed when first opening the cover…they did assure us that it would be open again in an hour (despite us seeing them close the cover WITHOUT REMOVING THE POOP and pouring in lots of chlorine). The beach bar has great views, despite a homeless encampment at its base, and several large rats (not mice!) roaming around once the sun goes down… The location is great, but don’t make the same mistake we did - for half the price some of this could be overlooked, but no way for $700+/night. We talked with other guests who had the same (or worse) experiences. Save your $$ and stay somewhere else!

My husband and I did a quick trip for my birthday weekend. We didn’t stay in the main hotel, we stayed at The Gables, which was great! It had a front porch with rocking chairs and we sat there for our own “happy hour” every night just people watching from the porch. It was the best location on the Island! Room was updated and the bed was very comfortable. If we come back, I would stay at that location again.

The location, rooms, common spaces, and food were all excellent. Really cool decorating and very comfortable. In particular, the service was impressive. In addition to friendly and prompt staff, Josh was wonderful. Having lost an important ring after checking out, I called the front desk and Josh went immediately to the room to search—and found it! Thank you for that and a great vacation!

This business cancelled my long standing reservation three days before my planned arrival, without compensation for their mistake and without help finding a new accommodation. This business cited "construction delays" this week as the cause for my room not being habitable. Yet a month ago when they called me to confirm my reservation they made no mention of a possible construction delay, which at that point I might have been able to find another accommodation. Terrible business practice that has left multiple guests (I am one of many) without a place to stay for the weekend.

This hotel was 9 out of a 10. Place is very modern, very conveniently located close by main ***** and near the ferry. The views are breathtaking. The room are modern and hotel is beautiful! Only downside is that walls in the room are very thin and there are no elevators which is not good for someone that is handicap. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, staff was wonderful. The hotel right on the beach as well and restaurant at hotel was delicious!
