華威酒店(Warwick New York)

Was given the worst room. Dark and tiny. said this is what I paid for? I had stayed here before and never had a room like this. Asked for another lamp a never got it. Towels were skimpy. Shower broken. Do not go!!

It's a nice, old hotel, but it is old, and the elevators are very small. There can be a lot of traffic waiting for those elevators, and you could be waiting for 5 minutes or so to get an elevator because only so many peiple can get on at a time. I also wish there had been laundry service of some sort, whether it be done by the hotel or self-service.

Good place

Excellent hotel with a prime location. Reasonably priced as well. My only complaint is that the lighting system in the room was malfunctioning. Your only choice was to have all the lights in the room on all the lights in the room off. The panel, which allowed you to select which light to use did not work. I mentioned this on check out and expected to get some compensation, but did not.

The Warwick has changed since I stayed here 8 or 9 years ago. The good is the rooms now have working thermostats so you can control room temp. Not so good is the old grand looking lobby has been chopped up and feels like a bus station now. The bar doesn't open till late afternoon but is a nice place to meet friends and enjoy a beer or cocktail. Room has been updated and was very comfortable. Overall a good place to stay, great location on 54th st. @ 6th Ave. and a very good value.

If it wasn’t for the doorman I wouldn’t reviewed at all. The doorman is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He pointed us in the right direction every time we asked. The restaurant and bar have the worst service I’ve ever experienced and the food was overpriced and ice cold. Do everyone favours (including the staff) and eat drink somewhere else! Our room had some wiring problems, lights going off and on, the alarm clock was broken.asked front desk to fix but then when I walked away I saw them making fun of me so I just politely said nevermind. After one day of returning to a cleaned room with new waters, towels, and coffee stocked we were surprised with all of it missing. Again, called and asked for more towels as we didn’t have any now. I guess with these resort fees you only get this stuff once during your stay unless you ask.

Our stay was 12/16-12/19. The staff was wonderful, always pleasant and happy to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. The luggage storage was super convenient. WIth the rich history and convenient location, I'm looking forward to our next stay.
