世界中心酒店(World Center Hotel)

Das Hotel liegt direkt am World Trade Center. Sehr saubere Umgebung und ruhig. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten. Für New Yorker Verhältnisse war das Zimmer sehr geräumig. Auch das Badezimmer mit Dusche war sehr sauber und hatte eine angenehme Größe. Auf jeder Etage gibt es die Möglichkeit sich jederzeit kostenlos Wasser zu holen. Flaschen werden auch zur Verfügung gestellt. Im Eingangsbereich des Hotels stand Filterkaffee, ein Kaffeevollautomat mit diversen Kaffeespezialitäten, heißes Wasser und Teebeutel zur Verfügung. Das ist selten heutzutage. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Sahnehäubchen wäre gewesen ein Zimmer mit Aussicht zu haben und man hat auch versucht uns zu helfen. Leider waren sie ausgebucht.

The hotel was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had to wait about 20 min past check in time for our room to be ready, but the room was very clean and spacious. Great views out the balcony. My only issue has nothing to do with the hotel itself, it's just I didn't care for the location. It's a distance from the main hustle and bustle of NYC tourism.

El hotel está bien ubicado y tiene buenas instalaciones. A mejorar, las duchas de los baños. Por otro lado, reservamos una habitación para 3 adultos y solo habían 2 camas individuales, resolvieron con una cama plegable no muy cómoda. La habitación estaba limpia, pero no hacen aseo diariamente. La atención del personal muy buena, eran todos amables.

The best hotel staff and the best service! It's like being home! I love the cappuccino maker downstairs and the water filling stations on every floor. Kudos to the front desk staff especially Spencer! The housekeeping staff are attentive, polite and fast! I also love the rooftop bar for when you want a nightcap with a view of the WTC and the fountains. This is where I stay when I'm ever in the city.

* unprofessional front desk - my daughter called and requested whether early check in was available; they said yes for additional fee of $50; however, when we arrived, the early check in was not an option; we had to wait 4 hours until their housekeeping clean up a room; a male imbecile receptionist will ask you: “oh, weren’t you waiting for an early check in?” Just like he never knew that we had been waiting in the lobby for hours * Upon entry in our room- extremely small (smaller than a motel); very loud HVAC (imagine being on an old fashioned, propelled plane). The noise would drill in your mind and the uncontrollable desire to leave asap will be overwhelming!

Nette Unterkunft in der Nähe des World Trade Center (9/11 Memorial). Das Personal am Check-in war freundlich und hat unser Gepäck schnell entgegengenommen für eine Gepäckaufbewahrung und unserem Wunsch nach einem Zimmer weit oben sind sie auch gerecht geworden. Das Zimmer ist schön und für die Lage preislich auch gut. Der einzige Mangel war die fehlende Zimmerreinigung - die wurde nicht durchgeführt obwohl Personal vorhanden war und es gab auch kein Schild zum raushängen, dass man reinigen soll - somit gehe ich davon aus, dass gereinigt wird.
