羅傑史密斯酒店(The Roger Smith Hotel)

Had a very lovely stay at the Roger Smith in November 2021, so lovely that we booked a return stay for our next NY visit in March 2022. However, a couple of weeks before our trip, I received an email from the hotel informing me that my reservation was cancelled, no explanation, and if I had any questions to call the hotel (phone number provided). I called and there was no answer. I assume the hotel has closed, perhaps permanently? If so it's a loss for those of us who discovered this unheralded gem in Midtown East.

Can't complain with my experience at the Roger Smith at all. It's only a block or two from Grand Central so getting there and back is super easy and convenient. There's also a Walgreens pharmacy right across the street for any quick needs. Was able to meet with the owner/manager and learned about all the metal artwork found throughtout the building and the artist-focused culture that the hotel strives for. Super cool to be able to stay at this type of independent establishment. Definitely recommend the renovated "mirror room" on the 15th floor if it's available!

OK the c roger smith walk in to Brite red carpet alot of wood old school .counters.doors 🚪 elevators. We loved our queen rm on the 8th floor.with complimentary espresso maker ..great location to .time square. Rokafello center. Macy's. Grand central. We will be back.👍😎

The Roger Smith Hotel is a classy and spirited Lady. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the sweet and charismatic front desk maven, Sophy Diaz. The rooms are classy, clean, and comfy. The lobby is filled with unique art. The concierge, Victor Manuel Fernandez, has a knack and is in the know of recommendations for all of the off-the-beaten-path spots in the city. Everyone went out of their way so I could have a special NYC trip. I will return to the Roger Smith Hotel and I highly recommend this midtown gem.

Front desk people like Sophy Diaz and her colleagues are so professional and friendly willing to assist in all matters. Hotel has a good location and is of good size. It has a nice atmosphere and is well taken care of. I want to go there every time when I am in New York.

I stay here every time I come to NYC. The lobby is art-filled, the staff is the nicest around, the rooms are clean and classic, and the location is at the center of everything - even the universe it seems.

Es la segunda vez que vamos al Roger Smith y la verdad que nuestra experiencia siempre ha sido muy buena. Está situado en el medio de Manhattan y está muy bien comunicado con el metro para poderte mover con facilidad por la ciudad. Hay muchos restaurantes por la zona para los que quieren cenar cerca del hotel. Las habitaciones son amplias y están totalmente equipadas con todo lo necesario. baño muy limpio y en buen estado. Además, el personal del hotel es muy amable y atento con todos los huéspedes. Sin duda es una muy buena opción para aquellos que estén de turismo y quieran moverse con comodidad.

Hemos tenido una estancia fantástica en el hotel. La habitación era grande y acogedora, el baño impecable y el personal amable y cercano. Nos ayudaron con todo lo que necesitamos en cada momento. La localización del hotel es inmejorable, ojalá podamos volver pronto!!
