The hotel is in dire need of an update and improvements. In addition, the front desk staff makes an effort at trying to be welcoming by always smiling, however, they are severely lacking in their ability to resolve matters appropriately and responding to guests in a professional manner. Some additional training in hospitality and maintaining appositive image of the company they represent appears to be sorely needed at this Aloft. I had to be moved three times from October 18-19 due to a non-working television in one room and the poor conditions (gaps/holes in the walls, rusted furniture fixtures, odor, dirty rug, and totally deplorable appearance of a room that is supposed to be representative of the Marriott brand.
