桑德-納什(Sonder — The Nash)

Nous avons séjourné dans la chambre 2K que nous avons réservé sur l’application de Sonder. La réalité n’était pas identique aux photos, il manquait le tapis, les coussins verts du lit, le plaid bleu, l’enceinte Marshall, la plante. Mais bon, à la limite ce n’est pas très grave. Là où nous avons été surpris c’est qu’il faisait très froid dans la chambre, nous avons donc contacté Sonder afin d’obtenir une autre couette. Nous avons obtenu une réponse rapide mais malheureusement après une nuit, personne n’est venu. J’ai du mettre mon manteau et mon écharpe sur le lit au petit matin. Après vérification nous avons constaté que la fenêtre était vétuste et qu’un courant d’air passait. Le lit étant à côté de la fenêtre, le courant d’air vous tombe dessus… J’ai insisté auprès de Sonder qui m’a accordé un remboursement partiel de la nuit. Lorsque nous sommes rentrés de notre 2eme journée, nous avons constaté que le chauffage avait été réglé et il faisait très chaud. Nous avons donc passé le reste du séjour à mettre le chauffage très fort (il faisait très froid à NYC en cette période) mais l’inconvénient c’est que ce chauffage fait beaucoup de bruit, impossible de dormir avec. Donc nous le baissions au coucher pour ne pas être dérangés par son bruit et nous l’augmentions au réveil. Mais le même problème subsistait, il faisait très froid au petit matin. Nous avons constaté avant de partir qu’en fait le double vitrage de la fenêtre n’avait plus qu’un seul vitrage, l’autre a probablement été cassé. Et je constate sur les avis précédents qu’une personne a posté des photos de cette même fenêtre, déjà cassée en décembre. J’ai écris à Sonder mais, aucune réponse. Comment se fait-il que cette fenêtre ne soit pas réparée ??? Il est anormal de louer un logement avec un problème aussi important. Pour le reste, le logement était un peu dégradé mais rien de dérangeant à mon sens. Un autre bémol sur la literie qui ne sentait pas très bon malgré des draps propres. Idem pour le fauteuil gris, il mériterait d’être nettoyé, il ne sent pas très bon. Pour la salle de bain, l’eau n’était pas assez chaude à notre goût, pour le reste, ok. Serviettes de bain propres, grande armoire de toilette avec miroir + grand miroir au dessus du lavabo. Manque juste une autre barre pour étendre la seconde serviette, il n’y a qu’une barre, c’est un peu juste pour 2 draps de bain. À savoir qu’il y a un sèche cheveux à disposition, c’est un bon point. La chambre dispose de 2 grands placards, d’une planche à repasser avec fer. La cuisine ok, assez complète pour de l’appoint. Manque des torchons. L’autre point pas cool : la laverie. Possibilité d’acheter une carte à 5$ et de la créditer pour ensuite utiliser les machines. Seulement ce que Sonder ne dit pas c’est qu’il faut créditer cette carte de 15$ minimum ! à savoir qu’il n’y a pas de distributeur de lessive. Donc il faut acheter en plus du détergent. Bref, pour une semaine sur place, ce n’est pas très pratique et bien trop cher. Nous avons l

Localização excelente. Portaria solícita e amigável, espaçoso para Manhattan, apartamento muito bom. Limpeza dentro do esperado dos Estados Unidos (quase limpinho…daquele jeito meio encardido das coisas dos EUA - mas sem carpetes - o que ajuda muito).

The apartments look nothing like the photos, they are tired, old, and honestly look like they’ve been used for parties. The floor was so disgusting and sticky. The walls have marks all over them, and the table was so damaged. It was disgraceful. I would highly recommend you do not book this property. I ended up checking out, Sunday at first refused to provide a refund until I sent them photos and videos. Not once did they ever apologize. Honestly, this apartment 5 D should be not used

Room 4A with kitchenette in The Nash building, New York listed for 4 people but only 1 double bed. Sofa that is there is so bad, it was better to sleep on the floor. No stove, just multifunction microwave with no instruction how to use it. Floors so sticky that I can compare it to the one I've seen in the no so good Fast-food restaurants. I do not recommend this place.

I was really disappointed with the Sonder Nash. The building was shabby and tired and whilst I'm sure the cleaners did their best, dirty grout and shabby fittings made it impossible to be properly clean. The corridors were inexplicably painted black, giving the impression of a weird old, slightly nightmarish nightclub. When we arrived, the AC was not working and the room was stiflingly hot, and being on a low floor had almost no natural light. Sonder customer service were responsive and maintenance came out quickly to sort AC so the room cooled down but the AC was unbelievably noisy and did not reliably stay on over night so the room would heat back up again. None of us are light sleepers or especially bothered by noise but you would struggle to sleep through the AC noise if you were - it was so loud. The roof terrace had great views and the location is handy for exploring the city. If you are not bothered by heat (as an English red-header I really am), don't mind the rooms being dark and consider the price reasonable, you might be ok but for me this building was of poor quality and not what I had expected from the photos. I am surprised that Sonder consider this building to be a good enough standard and it makes me think there is not enough oversight of local areas. We asked to move and Sonder customer service were able to move us to the Battery Park location which was spectacular. The text customer service was responsive and helpful although I did have to explain myself multiple times as different people came on. Nevertheless, it was good service and I was happy with how everything was resolved.

Great spot although it got a little loud with local construction going on. But it’s nyc. Have storage for luggage. The doormen were very friendly and helpful. When my code wouldn’t work 30 min after check in was available, they gave me the key. Walking distance to Times Square 10-15 min and far enough away from the bustle that you could enjoy checking out more local sites. Love City Beer down the street and Sam’s Place for Italian. Jimmy’s corner on 44th is always a fave dive bar. (Closed Sunday).

Ich war sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Sie ist geräumig und sauber. Was braucht man mehr, wenn man in NYC ist und sich die Stadt anschaut. Ich habe alles soweit zu fuss gemacht, es ist super zentral gelegen. Vielen Dank.

This was the perfect place to stay, it was central to everywhere and the bus/subway was a short walk. There are heaps of places to eat close by and the door staff were lovey and always helpful. It didn’t really mention it on the site but there is a laundry there that you can use, you just need to have your own detergent. I also loved that we had a kitchenette during our stay
