松德爾杜安街(Sonder Duane Street)

Starting with the pros, the location was good and my 5h floor room gave me distance to the street level noise, so that I wasn’t bothered by it. The room was also a very generous size with a little sofa and desk and the bedding and mattress was clean. The cons started upon check-in. The online only checkin seems silly when there was two people at the front desk, so that you have to just stand in front of them for 10min and fill out all your details on your phone. I arrived 15min before the stated checkin time and therefore had to sit and wait in the lobby even though the room was ready, because they would otherwise charge for early checkin. It’s also worth noting that there is no staff in hotel past 8pm, which could unsettle some guests. The rest is down to the details. For a hotel that seems to have been renovated in the last few years, it already seemed quite tired and sloppily taken care of. There’s paint splotches on every single door handle, window and mirror frame and even on the curtain. There’s some lovely products in the shower, but all three bottle holders were broken which made it hard to actually use the pumps. The shower tiles seemed dirty and the grouting was already gross in some areas. There’s a little sign by the bedside table saying that “cities can be noisy so we left some earplugs for you”, but there were no earplugs to be found. Some of the furniture was already were worn out, which let down the otherwise simple and modern design that they’d initially gone for.

The Sonder organization is terrible. The hotels are fine, but I have used them for both business and personal travel (a total of two trips). On the second, personal travel, I had charges for the room added to my corporate card that was on file for my previous business travel (buyer beware - they automatically charge any card added to the app). I called three times to have the charges changed from my corporate card to my personal card and each time they said they were doing it and never did. In the meantime, they charged both cards. Now I have paid the fees twice and no one from Sonder will help me. I am filing a case with the Better Business Bureau. Good luck, folks.

Amazing service for a great price. Seamless experience all around. Free coffee in the AM was super clutch and every staff member we encountered was super helpful. Only complaint is that the locks did not always work with the mobile key and sometimes had to manually type the code. We were moved from another Sonder location in Gowanus, Brooklyn but the A/C unit in our room was broken and rest of the building was full so they upgraded us to this location in Manhattan as well as gave us a $50 refund credit for transportation costs. Truly a delightful experience and will definitely be staying with Sonder again. For the affordable price the service we got was outstanding.

I am not sure what I think about this Hotel as it feels more like an AirBnB and not a classic hotel. Reception is only staffed until 10 pm. You can get all the ammenities you need like toilet paper, shower gel, shampoo etc in the lobby in a storage closet. the rooms are spacious yet didn´t feel very clean. The bathroom tiles had heavy stains on them and the drain in the sink was clocked (room sevice should have noticed that prior to my arrival) the room will not be cleaned during your stay. while you have enough fresh towels a short sweep through at least every 2 to 3 days would have been nice. The area of the hotel is good and conveniently located. I didn´t like that you couldn´t open the window at all. sometimes you need fresh air. I understand that they are scared of people jumping out but you can block the window so it only opens a tiny bit. the aircon was hard to handle and no matter which temperature I set it to it remained the same. You can´t beat the price but I think my next stay in NY will def. be in a proper hotel with all the hotel ammenities.

This would be a bit out of my budget for a more extended stay, but it was perfect for an easy-to-reach first night in the city. Great location but well soundproofed. Stylish, bright room with a street view which surprised me by actually resembling the promotional photos. Welcoming staff and well thought-out offers of luggage lockers, umbrella hire, etc

Incredible place at an amazing price. Excellent gym! Great location with lots of cafes in the neighborhood and super nice staff in the building. Our room was bright and clean. We had no complaints during our stay. Would love to come back here.

Great location, clean and comfortable. A lot to do around wonders including great coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. We have stayed here before and next time in nyc, which will be soon, we will stay here again. Great place, especially for the price.

Nos gustó mucho la estancia en Sonder. Sin duda si volviésemos a NY, repetiríamos. Servicios a remarcar: - Cafetera en la habitación en perfecto estado, para infusiones y cafés. - Habitación acogedora con lo todo lo esencial. - Ubicación perfecta y alrededor todo lo que necesitas (metro, supermercados, restaurantes, etc.). - Tienes un armario en recepción para poder coger productos esenciales (más crema, tapones, más cápsulas de café, infusiones, rollos de papel, etc.) y los recepcionistas están siempre a tu disposición para lo que necesitas. - Servicio para guardar maletas y también para poder utilizar sus paraguas. - Microondas en recepción para los clientes. Como único inconveniente sería la carencia del servicio de limpieza en la habitación durante tu estancia, ya que, no entran a limpiar ningún día y tienes que sacar tu la basura. De todos modos, puedes pedir cambio de toallas sin ningún problema.

超級好的住宿，位置很棒，你真的可以超級快地到達一切。非常好的員工。大堂免費提供水和咖啡，還有必要的用具（洗髮水、房間的咖啡……） 房間真的很大，浴室很乾淨。對於紐約來說真的是物超所值！強烈推薦。
