Property looks absolutely gorgeous in photographs. But the rooms are tiny. The platforms are made from plywood and the beds are on the floor. While this is clear in the photos, just know they are difficult to get out of. The lighting is impossible. Especially in the bathroom. Everything is painted black which makes the lighting situation worse. We bought little lights to prevent tripping on the platform at night. Sometimes there was no top sheet on the duvet. The bottom sheet was not changed over five days. Bar and restaurant were great. Staff was very helpful. The rooms, lighting, and hallways need a serious renovation. The view is a brick wall or the Highline. But the windows were so dirty we could not enjoy the view.

Amazing property! Fantastic rooms highly recommend The Loft room. Kiko at the front desk was extremely friendly and accommodating. A hidden gem!

Extremely over priced for a pretty run down hotel. Room was dimly lit because of I adequate lighting, the toilet seat was bizarrely uncomfortable, the shampoo/body wash/conditioner provided were cheap unknown brands, room didn’t feel clean, soap dish was cracked. Looks like a cute boutique hotel in photos but is really motel standard. My night was almost $300 which is more than a night at the Line in LA. The trans woman at the front desk provided extremely poor, rude service. She couldn’t be bothered to answer any questions and was dismissive. Pretty horrible place.

I was extremely pleasantly surprised by this little gem and would absolutely go back on my next trip to NY!

Had potential. The AC did not work in a very warm room. Had to open up a window which sent in an arctic blast. Being in NYC the opening of the window let in the non stop noise of construction and work going on right outside the building. So on a special anniversary overnight stay we got no sleep because we could not get comfortable with the temp and noise all night long. Probably would never book again. I actually think a refund would be fair.

Good location, great bars, food good but small menu. Rooftop bar especially nice. Negatives: no comfortable seating in rooms, only stylish unpleasant things. Mattresses are on the floor. Difficult to get front desk to answer phone. Extremely loud bar in basement— get an upper floor room if you like to sleep. It was a good value for the money, I would stay here again if I need this location in Chelsea.

NOTHING like photos. Hotel staff was friendly but that does not make up for the ghetto DIY construction and condition of hotel rooms. AVOID unless it is only option. Beds are a joke- it just needed a blanket over the chair to make the “fort” sleeping on floor status. Mattress on a wood platform is not good-Housekeeping left 1 towel for two people and no washcloth- none. No phone to call front desk- rooms seriously are not good- really wanted to like it-but this place is tragic. 2 stars just because of staff.
