基克斯比酒店(Kixby)

I booked the room for my son and a friend, who came for a 3-day visit to NYC. They have been texting me the whole time, saying how much they've enjoyed the stay at Kixby. Sharmin was great when I called for reservations, too. I plan to visit at some point with my wife. I know where I'll be staying.

I would never and will never stay at this property. Multiple requests to speak to manager after forced upgrade and heater which had been turned off prior to us staying. The front desk supervisor rude and completely ignored our requests. We left a day early bc just so insulted by the staff. NOT worth the price! I have never had this type of experience with staff who are literally supposed to be trained in dealing with customer satisfaction.

Recently remodeled BUT... They did not invest in curtains instead cord slat blinds that let light in. They did not update the windows. The windows are old and inexpensive and you can hear every noise from outside. The through the wall HVAC system is drafty and we felt cold air coming in all night long. And had to use towels for insulation around the unit. The mattresses are not plush. Our room had no foyer - upon walking in, the side of the bed is within 5 feet of the door. The shower was Luke warm at best, we tried twice during our trip at different times. The elevator does have a controlled safety feature for your floor but it very tricky for the card reader to read your room key. They did give us two complimentry drink tickets upon check in. The hallways are nicely designed. The room was cute with wall molding. The TV is not a smart TV but that didn't matter. The seasonal roof deck has a great view and a cute vibe. Though this hotel may have a 4 star rating I would disagree until they update the mattresses, windows, room curtains and Hvac insulation. And address the hot water please.

Stayed in the Lux two queen room. It was extremely clean and spacious for a NYC hotel room. The bathrooms are kind of tight but very clean. The receptionist was truly amazing and was able to get us into our room early. We did experience a negative moment with the bellhop misplacing our luggage and I had to help him find them. I found the property to be clean and in a well located area. Steps from the subway and bus transport. Walking distance to a lot of the major attractions.

A nice and super central hotel with everything nearby (even a metro station for those things that aren't within walking distance). Great staff and even if I didn't try the restaurant the menu looked good and there was always people in there (a good sign). The only thing I didn't like was a quite noisy air conditioning unit, so I tended to just shut it off to be able to sleep during the night. And - next time I'll likely go for a more expensive room to get a bit of a view as well.

The only complaint I have is that washable coffee cups and teaspoons should be used in the rooms. In today’s world we need to reuse as much as possible. Having disposable cups each individually wrapped in plastic is irresponsible. Aside from that, we had the most amazing stay. Many thanks.

A group of 3 couples. We had 3 king rooms. Size of room was much larger than expected. Everything about the room was clean and nice. Room was ready right at 4pm due to the hotel being full. The staff tried hard to get our rooms close together. Wonderful view of the Empire State Building from the rooftop bar. The rooftop bar is not ran by the hotel. It was not open when it was supposed to be. So, just heads up if that’s one of the selling points for you. Overall, I would recommend the hotel.

Let me tell you'll about this place one of the best hotel, its clean and quiet, good space in my room, all the staff and customer service is beyond great and they also have security and there is alot of food place around the area and fun stuff to do worth it 42 street and Bryan park also.
