As always the staff at tot hill are very helpful and professional, we were always impressed with the very friendly service , the rooms are clean, spacious and adequate plus they are very good value, it is a hot night tonight 7/9/23 and the fan in the room is a great help, I would highly recommend tot hill travelodge, Gerry and Hilda from Ireland

Travelodge Newbury Tothill which I called upon in past. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff was very good especially Adeel the receptionist he made our visit a good. The hotel is refurbing the carpets which is very good that was the only thing that was annoying everyone. Best of luck Travelodge Newbury Tothill

A very comfortable stay near Newbury. The reception staff are very helpful. The hotel is quiet despite being close to the busy A34. The only criticisms, there is a damp smell in the stairwell and the carpets in the corridors have seen better days.

Adeel has been absolutely amazing very welcoming and helpful with sorting out our booking his customer service skills are 10/10 couldn’t thank him enough he’s been very accommodating to me and all our staff member staying 10 stars!

We had a family room which was clean and comfortable. Thank you to Puskar for his warm welcome, excellent customer service and prompt help when we needed local advise and an extra cup. Would definately stay again.

Located just off the A34 and ideal point to stop for ease of continuing a journey. Surprisingly quiet considering how close to the road, and a shared car park with a petrol station and a Fast Food outlet. Rooms are advertised as having showers, and photographs on the website show walk in showers. Do not be fooled, none of the rooms have walk in showers, even the accessible rooms. Baths with overhead showers do have grab rails but that still does not make it easy of safe for people to use, especially if you have a mobility issue. Not really the fault of the Travel Lodge but - Shocked by a strange man walking around peering in the ground floor bedroom window. Who want's to close windows and blackout curtains on a hot sunny afternoon? If I stay in one again I will make sure I ask for a 1st floor room. Chairs in room very uncomfortable. WiFi - paid as an extra was patchy. Receptionist on arrival helpful. Person on checkout tried to arrogantly tell me I was wrong about something in accommodation safety provision I am professionally trained and experienced in. Value for money? No! It seemed like a good deal when I booked, but on arrival I didn't get what I'd booked and it wasn't possible to then make alternative arrangements. Would I recommend Tot Hill to someone else, maybe but I'd also suggest they ring ahead first before booking to confirm the actual facilities, especially if accessibility/mobility were and issue. Would I stay there again? Probably not.

Had a lovely room, looking out on trees. Noise from road completely shut out by windows. Room warm but fan supplied. Staff very friendly. Next to McDonald's and Starbucks, but quiet at back. Very close to Highclere Castle.

Key entry but no door chain and no dead bolt. Advised to put a chair against the door due to lack of anything else. As there is a parliamentary committee looking at the poor security at travelodge i think something better should be in place. Poor wifi. Otherwise clean. Staff friendly. Poor wifi

Reception great. Rooms conditions good but the rooms quite far from each other. Why no separate shower from both. All customers in this group unable to get into bath for shower. All rooms for disabled should have walk in showers. WiFi signal none existent..unalble to sign in although paid for excess.

Fresh clean room, ideal location for my needs and Jayne on reception was very friendly & helpful. Will stay again.

I had a pleasant say tot hill , easy Parking and quiet at night time and the lady on the front desk. Diane was very helpful.
