白鹿酒店(The White Hart)

Stayed for just one night and had a great time. Lovely staff gave us a bottle of wine and a "mirror message" for my birthday, which was very kind. All staff great and nice to see the owner working just as hard. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Nice mix of locals and guests. A proper English country pub.

Lovely old pub full of character and rustic, down-to-earth charm. Staff were friendly and welcoming and food was very tasty. Faulkner room was very clean and comfortable and had a good shower. However it was a very cosy twin bedded room and the view out wasn’t great at all. Wouldn’t have wanted to stay in that room for more than a night. But it was fine in many ways. And you didn’t hear the road. Overall a good stay.

Pub B&B, great breakfast and good hospitality. Rooms functional rather than luxurious but happily stay again for the price. Good location too

Lovely rural stay. Great distance from various local attractions. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Nice owner run Inn. Food was excellent too! Really great garden, with stable style dining huts with outdoor heaters. Will definitely go back.

A nice pub/accommodation, with excellent food. Very friendly local people, spacious car park adjacent to pub. Only stayed for one night, felt really at home.

Great spot to stay!

We had an excellent Sunday lunch of belly of pork. Large portions and friendly staff. Be careful leaving their car park as visibilty is difficult and traffic tends to speed through the village.

We had a lovely Mother's day meal. The food was great, the roasts was delicious. My toddler had the battered cod and wmit was lovely piece of fish! The roast felt sohomemade, and the gravy was so rich! Lovely Eton mess pudding. Staff were attentive. I'm not keen on a service charge anywhere I go. I like to give a tip if I feel they have been great, not have it demanded on the bill. But ... I didn't mind here as they couldn't have been better.
