羅瑟裏酒店(The Rosery)

My room was spacious, clean and tidy (apart from a single black sock which I put into the bin). The room was kept at a constant warmth, thankfully as it was freezing out at the time of my stay. I’d gone so I could attend a friends funeral and stayed for two nights. On the morning I was leaving I was getting a lift to the train station and was made to feel welcome by waiting in reception area where I was made a couple of latté’s while I waited. I’ll definitely stay there again when I’m next down to visit. Thank you!

check in fine, friendly helpful staff. stayed 1 night in one of the garden rooms. nice clean room with huge bathroom. only negative thing was if you wanted 2 cups of tea in the morning out of luck as only 1 teabag per person - im sure if you ask at reception they would provide, but not convenient first thing in the morning and no biscuits. breakfast service couldnt fault and good choice/quality of food. would recommend and will return in the summer as has lovely gardens and table/chairs outside the garden rooms. x

A really good find in this quiet village of Exning. Both bedrooms were of a good size with lovely comfortable beds. Meals were lovely especially the breakfast with mine hosts being very attentive! Really enjoyed our stay here! Its recommend ed!

I found this hotel Maintenance very poor, yes it's an old building but no excuse for quality of decor. Room 3 is totally different to room 2 in every way. Room 3 is just like an add on without the luxury of the other rooms. Service poor arrived after a long day at the races and wanted to drop luggage and have a nice relaxing drink at the bar. Took 5 mins to return to bar and all doors locked, lights out and nobody around, bar Closed! The most expensive breakfast I've ever had £12.50 with no choice, only set breakfast and very small portions, reluctant to fit us in for breakfast as we came down the night before after dropping off luggage to book breakfast as everyone had gone, lights out of whole building and locked up. The carpark is waiting for an accident claim, most of the paving slabs are broken due to uneven ground. Lifting and rocking Slabs! Definitely wouldn't stay again, the price for hotel too expensive, also price for breakfast too high and very small, asked for top up of coffee and was charged extra on top of £12.50.

We had a very comfortable night's stay in The Rosery. Our room was clean and the bed super comfortable. The hotel is an amazing building with a peaceful garden. Dinner and breakfast were very tasty with plenty of choice. Owners are friendly and very helpful.

After being totally let down at a hotel near Ely for a 2 night stay, we managed to book in for 1 night to celebrate our Golden Wedding within 1 hour of inquiring. The reception was warm & friendly which was how the hotel was for the rest of our stay. Our room was charming, atmospheric and traditional. We went into the lounge for a cup of tea where Tony & Rob who ran the hotel asked about our plight. On hearing our story they offered to clear another room that had just had some repairs done so that we could have our complete break. We ate there both nights. Lovely food and the breakfasts were superb. All the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and saved our special weekend turning it into a lovely weekend stay. Highly recommend it and we hope to return.
