多利曼海濱旅館(Doryman's Oceanfront Inn)

It’s a 120 year old property, which had been renovated a few years back. With that in mind it’s in decent condition. Beds are ok, but nothing to compare with modern hotels. Water was warm. Yeah. It’s right on the beach, which is nice however be prepared to have teenagers (like 100) of them party under your window until 2am. The restaurant (21 Ocean and the bar is very good and classy). It’s about 5-20 minutes walk from the Harbor Master’s guest boat slips. We were in town for the Newport to Ensenada race and that location worked well.

Such a cute spot! Easy access to everything around there. We did some bar hoping and enjoyed the weather! If your looking for peace that’s not the place as the bars are downstairs and it can get loud, but we didn’t mind it we slept good and had a great stay!

Super nice staff, great location right on the beach. A lot of character and charm in this building. Only negative was the noise at night. Very loud around 12:30 a.m. with partiers grabbing donuts next door. Need to provide some soft noise in the background for those staying there!!

Waited at front door for 25 minutes to be let in after traveling 12 hours. No one opened the door for us. We had to find another hotel at 12am on Mother’s Day weekend. Manager was totally not understanding or empathetic.

Doryman is a great little hotel. The rooms are old fashioned but it has a great atmosphere. Bed was comfortable and they have a great staff working there. So the only complaint here is the noise from the bars nearby. They go until about 2 am and if you are not a sound sleeper it will keep you awake. However if you are there for the bars this will be the place for you. If you are looking for peace and quiet probably better to pass in this one.

Excellent accueil. Chambre avec vue sur l’océan, adorable décoration victorienne. Le petit déjeuner sur le rooftop était très agréable. Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

Wonderful place! Room 5 has an amazing ocean view! Fireplace is a cozy gas one, easy to turn on and off. It does overlook a busy area on a Saturday night, but we didn’t mind hearing people chatting and walking around. The ocean waves were still the main background noise! Breakfast is light (mostly cereal, muffins and bagels) but there are plenty of places nearby to get something more substantial if you want it. We will be back!!

This is a beautiful place, right on the beach. Multiple shopping and dining options within 1short block. Staff is courteous, friendly and efficient. I highly recommend a stay in one of their beautifully decorated rooms.

Great location but for the price they could provide more as in toiletries and breakfast. Colt and lady at front desk were lovely and helpful.
