From my boss, who I booked a conference for: I could not be more impressed with my accommodations, the staff and the overall experience. I got a complementary upgrade to a bigger suite, and it was absolutely beautiful! I enjoyed my stay so much, I immediately booked another stay for me and my wife!

My husband booked us the suite at 41°North at the end of a trip touring new England this fall. I'm writing a review to make anyone looking at staying here aware of the staff they choose to employ. During our stay a member of their housekeeping staff (who was entrusted with the service to our suite) stole a large sum of money out of my wallet that was in my luggage, in our locked room while we were out. We notified the hotels management and gave them a timeline of our schedule and when the money went missing, but as it was cash, we knew the chance of finding proof was slim. The moral of this is if you do choose to stay here, don't let the very high expense lull you into any sense of safety and security. Just knowing someone rummaged through my personal belongings was enough to make our stay regretful. In my opinion, I would highly recommend spending your hard earned money elsewhere.

The experience at Forty 1 North in Newport was second to none! The property is beautiful and relaxing. The interior spaces have beautiful furnishings and the decor is lovely and tasteful. Our cocktails and meals were divine! I can’t wait to return! The staff were knowledgeable and accommodating. We were treated as if we were the only guests there.

My fiancée and I stayed at Forty 1 North for our engagement weekend in June and had an unbelievable experience. Everything from the staff and service to the property/room and food was exceptional. The restaurant was great for both breakfast and dinner and the service was excellent. Additionally, the car service to other locations in Newport was a very nice service which we appreciated. Lastly, all of the staff, with a specific shout out to the Valet staff, were very friendly, helpful, made us feel welcome and made the experience at this beautiful property. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Newport!

I was attending a business meeting at this hotel so I did not choose it. However I booked and paid for the most expensive room in the hotel. I would have assumed the customer service would be in line with the price I paid. I received a letter via email prior to my arrival with the assertion the staff was here for me. Upon arrival I contacted the phone number in the email to inquire about laundry service. I was told it was available and the staff would assist me with my laundry. They came to the room to retrieve my laundry. The next day I again called and asked about by laundry. It wad 3:30pm. I was told my laundry was ready and the staff was at the laundry to get it and bring it back. I told the staff we would be leaving for a business dinner and she assured me my laundry would be on my room when we returned. Upon returning to my room at 8:30pm, there was no laundry. I once again called the number provided and a young man at the desk answered the phone. Instead of trying to inquire he chose to just start making up facts. I finally called him out and he admitted he knew nothing about my laundry. I asked to speak with a manager and was told that would not happen. This is my third time in Newport and I have stayed in 2 other hotels. They were so far superior to this one.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Very lovely outdoor bar areas. The hotel and bar staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The hotel offers to drive guests to/from places in Newport. This was fantastic. The young men working as valets were friendly and ready to please. Be prepared for a room that does not have adequate closet/dresser space. We like to unpack everything so it's easier to "live" in a hotel room while on vacation. Unfortunately, my husband and I had to keep most of our clothes in our suitcases and living out of a suitcase is a drag. That said, our overall experience was very good and we would definitely stay here again.
