The staff was amazing, I'm assuming the owners. I had surgery & my Mom who is in her late 60's we're extremely well taken care of. Moved to the 1st floor. Props to this establishment. Location was great.

America’s cup inn is perfectly located and has that wonderful old Newport charm. Staff is helpful and friendly. Nice continental breakfast and tea time in a cozy breakfast/sitting room. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Steps from shopping and Wharfs. Have stayed twice for getaways and plan to stay again in the future.

this was an unexpected jewel. Reviews were the reason we picked this spot. The convenient location, cleanliness and staff add to the charm of this lovely inn. Definitely would stay here again. Very laid back and one of the best Continental Breakfast displays ever encountered. Next time I would request a room on the lower floors. Septuagenarians find it difficult to traverse four floors. It was worth it as the room and the bed were very comfortable. We were notified we could check in early if we wish. Communication with the Inn was great. Would absolutely recommend this properrty if you a staying in the Newport area.

It was our first time at Americas Cup Inn and we were pleasantly surprised. A jump, hop and a skip to great restaurants and shopping. The location was perfect and we loved our room as well. We look forward to going back again next year!! Cheers! Michele

What an amazing property and location! We absolutely loved staying there around Christmas. It was off season yet I really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was so nice! They also have tea time form 3-5. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back

Walkable to everything. 3 second walk to Thames Street. Cute room. Very good breakfast and tea time snacks. Nice staff. A little noisy if your room is facing Thames. But I slept like a rock. Reasonable prices for rooms

We liked the location (right in the center of town). The problem was that it is right on the cobblestone street which is very noisy plus the sidewalk was right under our window. We literally heard every conversation when someone walked by. Inside the Inn we heard everyone that walked down the corridor The afternoon tea and the morning breakfast was impressive. The room was clean and the personal were fine.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Clean, cozy gorgeous rooms! Breakfast is amazing and they also have tea 3-5 100% RECOMMEND

It is an older property but that is part of the charm, conveniently located in downtown Newport but it was just far enough away from the bars so it wasn’t too loud at night.
