The only negative comment I have is that the room key and the room number had not been aligned so that another booking was able to use their key to open the door while I was in the room. Reception sorted it out but when the separate bookings were corrected, I couldn't use the key. Again, Reception sorted it out very quickly.

Usual noise, 2am onwards until around 2:30am noisy people talking loud in the corridors and slamming doors.
Stain on sheets, soft mattress.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very clean and comfortable and heating easily controlled which was great.

Nice hotel with really friendly, helpful staff. Food was good.
Only issue was the live entertainment on the Saturday night. I can only describe him as Dire Straits without the Straits…😂
I would recommend the Mourne Country Hotel if you’re looking to stay in or near Newry.
