安伯利小屋酒店(Amberley Cottage)

Amberley Cottage is a fabulous place, whether you are looking for a short or long break away. It is tucked away in the peaceful country lanes just a few minutes drive from the M5 / A38 and is ideally placed for visiting either the coast or Dar**oor. There is a well marked public footpath across the fields if you want a pleasant walk into Chudleigh for pubs, cafes or provisions. The cottage itself is excellent and has been maintained to a high standard by Louise and Martin. It is well laid out and spotless inside, having everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped if you want to make a full dinner or just a few sandwiches for a day out. Upstairs, there is the master bedroom with a really comfy super king sized bed and plenty of drawer and wardrobe space if you are there for a longer stay. The adjoining bathroom has a bath with shower above and plenty of water pressure. The second bedroom has a double bed and bunkbeds as well as a second bathroom. Local tourist information has been thoughtfully presented as well, along with suggestions for places to eat. There are plenty of puzzles, books and board games if you are looking for something to do in the evening. There is satellite TV and a good internet connection. We didn’t use the log burner, but can imagine it would make a cosy cottage if the weather turns cooler. Outside, there are ample parking spaces right next to the cottage. Also a convenient gravelled terrace area that catches the afternoon and evening sun. Louise and Martin are on hand to help with anything if needed, and will make you feel most welcome. Definitely a great place for a couple or a larger family, and we would highly recommend Amberley to anyone looking to stay in this area.

A fabulous stay. Louise was brilliant at getting back to us and was there to greet us when we arrived. Accommodation was lovely and just as described. So much helpful information and the beds were SO comfortable! Provided highchair, cot and stair gate for our little one. Lots of parking for two cars and lovely setting for a family holiday. We will be coming back! :)
