Another amazing stay at this wonderful B & B. Couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome, I really loved the space double room with ensuite bathroom, such was spacious yet very warm and comfortable too. Breakfast was delicious as always and felt nicely set up for the day to venture into Sidmouth and further afield. Can’t wait to return.

The guest house was just what I wanted to visit in a very small village. The breakfast was excellent and service was great. I was able to walk and explored the village. It was an easy bus ride from Exeter.

Lovely old building with great charm. Hosts very pleasant and a lovely cooked breakfast. Exceptional value.

A lovely old building, beautiful garden, smashing owners, great breakfast, terrific marmalade, relaxing, welcoming. The low ceilings meant you had to duck or grouse and the accommodation wasn't really suitable for semi ambient people, though the tea room was fine, but then it was as mentioned an old building. Thank you for fitting us in for an extra night too.

We very much enjoyed our 1-night stay at Wendy’s hotel. She helped make us feel welcome and the room was comfortable for our simple needs. Breakfast was delicious and served fresh. What a treat!! Felt bad that we accidentally broke the hot water kettle but we paid her $20 USD to cover the cost to replace it. Wendy was gracious.

Lovely old cottage very clean and cute. Lovely breakfast all tasted home grown. If you like quirky old cottages this would suit you. Staff friendly and helpful and had a nice meal in the Cannon pub.

Authentic Devon. Charming B&B with nice staff who cooked an excellent English breakfast and we really enjoyed the fresh strawberries with our cereal and yoghurt.

We had a 2 night stay , hosts were amazing , Rooms are Oldy Woldy, but have character . Excellent Breakfast included in price. Would come back again if destination came about again

We had a 1 night stay and it was lovely. The proprietor was very friendly and the breakfast was gorgeous. If you want somewhere to base yourself to explore Devon, this is the place. Stuart Turner
