Muri Beachcomber – A Perfect Stay in Paradise From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless. Check-in was quick and effortless, setting the tone for a wonderful stay. The service throughout our visit was excellent, with every member of the staff being genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive. The location couldn’t be better—right on the beach with stunning turquoise waters and views of the little motus (islands) just offshore. Restaurants and cafes are just a short walk away, making it easy to enjoy local flavors without hassle. One of the highlights was being able to take the complimentary kayaks out onto the lagoon—an unforgettable way to explore the beauty right at our doorstep. The entire atmosphere was relaxed yet refined, striking the perfect balance. A very special thanks to the management team for going the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Their thoughtful touches and personalized service truly stood out. We highly recommend Muri Beachcomber for anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and unforgettable island charm.

The overall stay was pleasant and peaceful. We enjoyed the free use of the kayaks, bicycles and paddle boards the most The location was such a bonus especially with two young boys. One thing I did not like was our room seemed to be infested with ants, they were everywhere.

Great location, we has the 2 bedroom unit which has lots of space and kitchen is new, aircon in rooms. Kitchen is well equiped and has Weber bbq on the deck. Very handy location at Muri with easy walk to all other resorts and restaurants.

Right on Muri lagoon. Self contained villas. Excellent facilities. All equipment is free to use with no time limits or "signing out". Wifi is also free for guests. Breakfast pack provided daily with cereal and bread for toast. It's basic but great for just getting you going for the day. Excellent alternative to a resort. Will be back.

Nice units near the beach with snorkel and kayaking gear provided. The pool was nice and surrounded by tropical plants, but it’s not a lap pool. The staff are lovely. We really appreciated the lounge with an honor bar, although there was also a very convenient 24-hour store nearby that had basic groceries, wine and beer and the best roast chicken for takeaway. The Muri Night Market is right next door, so we had dinner there several times. The only thing I would note is that our room was a lot more dated than the photos online, so you might want to ask for one of their renovated rooms. Also, the bed was pretty hard, but some people like that. All in all, it was a great stay.

Great place to stay if you prefer self contained room style accommodation. There are no dining facilities here but there are a few options nearby within walking distance including the food night markets right next door, a cafe for morning coffees across the road, the sailing club restaurant 30 meters down the beach (ate here a couple of times, it’s pretty good), a convenience store and takeaways also 20-30 meters away. Rooms were clean and had everything you need. Staff were very friendly, helpful and hospitable. Muri beach and lagoon is amazing. Golden sand and crystal clear water with lots of amazing sea life around if you like snorkeling. We saw and swam with turtles right out in front of the accomodation every day. Masks, snorkels, reef shoes, SUPs, kayaks, bikes are all provided free of charge for guests which we found to be awesome! Swam in the pool once, it was nice but the beach is really where it’s at. It’s a vibrant spot with lots of activity going on. There are lagoon tour operators either side of the Muri Beachcomber so you get to see and hear the shows they put on on the beach before they head off a couple of times a day. The drums and singing adds to the cultural feel and atmosphere of the area. Despite all the activity we didn’t feel like there was too much going on. We were still able to relax on the deck chairs, soak up the sun and picturesque views if that’s what we felt like doing. Found no faults during our stay, highly recommend it.
