I’ve stayed here off and on for 8-10 years. Some times a week or two, one year I stayed here for 8 weeks. That’s (2 months) It’s not The Waldorf Astoria or The Ritz, and I’ve stayed at both. The Phụ Quy is imperfect, the way I like it. I’ve stayed in 1201 facing The Louisian, I’ve stayed in 1204 facing north, both with incredible views and to me, very comfortable. I’ve also stayed in the center rooms with no view at all which are different but quiet and equally as comfortable. To me there is no downside because of the proximity to the beach, several restaurants and The Louisian restaurant and pool. All within walking distance. I don’t care about the amount of stars this place is rated or what anyone’s review says because I’ve stayed here more than most people. The Phụ Quy has always been my 1st choice when statin in Nhà Trắng. Special thanks to the staff, incredible group of people, hard working and all very accommodating. Remember people, before complaining about anything, put yourself in their shoes, prior to opening your pie holes on line, Vietnamese workers are grossly underpaid and should be treated with respect and tipped well. Typical Daily wage is $200,000.00 vnđ, that’s $10 usd I leave $100,000.00 ($5) minimum, on the dresser every morning for the housekeeper/s. Any waiter or waitress I encounter receives the same. Imagine what COVID did to these people when it put them out of work for 2 years solid. And still has not recovered. REMEMBER TO TREAT THE WORKERS WITH RESPECT.
