野玫瑰國家旅舍4(Wild Rose Country Lodge)

Mooi huis op mooie locatie met fantastisch uitzicht. Wij hadden kamer nr 7 en dat leek de minste kamer van het hotel. Het kon hier en daar wel een beetje liefde gebruiken. Maar overall Okee. Lekker ontbijt vriendelijk personeel. Zwembad ziet er wat vreemd en onaantrekkelijk uit met de grijze coating maar is verder prima.

We spent two nights at Wild Rose as we had made an invite to our friend’s 50th wedding anniversary an excuse for a weekend away for us. The garden setting is wonderful and the pool area extremely tranquil. The rooms were exceptionally clean and perfectly comfortable with lovely fresh white linen, however, the door is a little tired. A delicious breakfast was served each day. The stairwell is a bit steep for those who do not like climbing up stairs.

Perfect location near to great food and live music. The staff were exceptional and adressed all our needs and queries. They were very engaging if needed but not intrusive. The breakfast view was of long beach and the changing weather moods and a great start to the day. Frank and Veronica were super.

We were so welcomed and had the best weekend. Thanks to Frank and the team. WE will definitely go back if we ever stay out in Noordhoek again. Beautiful views. Great food and extremely quiet. Thank you again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wild Rose, Frank and the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. Superb venue for a large family, stunning views and conveniently situated. Definitely recommend a visit!

Travelling solo from out of country and arriving very late at night the owners and facilities manager, Frank were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The relaxing, engaging atmosphere allowed me to feel immediately at home. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts incredible. It was a pleasure to return to the lodge at the end of each day. I look forward to my next stay.

The Lodge was OK, a bit tired. A couple of issues: 1. In middle of nowhere (taxi to any restaurant/bar) 2. When I booked it, they missed the fact that there was an International cycle race which meant we couldn't leave on our last day to catch a flight (roads all closed off). So we had to leave a day earlier to another hotel out of the lockdown area. No agreement to the last night's refund (this is their error which would have been easily fixed). Had to go through my credit card to force the rebate. Seriously, not a good business approach.
