斯堪迪克北角酒店(Scandic Nordkapp)

struttura molto grande, formata da un corpo centrale con reception e ristorante e tanti corpi esterni con le camere, tutto in legno. la camera carina con pavimento riscaldato. Molto grande la sala ristorante con un bel camino ma zona buffet un po' ristretta quindi occorre un po' di fila , io l'ho fatta sia per la cena che per la colazione che comunque erano entrambe buone

We were shunted from our scheduled hotel, the Scandic Honningsvag in town without warning or explanation. This hotel is a barracks style, and it reminded me of a large school camp, with a large mess hall (restaurant) that you walked to exposed to the weather. No availability to walk in cold or wet weather without the necessary clothes into the restaurant. We stayed in a tiny room, with a tiny bathroom about the size of a cruise ship, with no desk, no tv, no wifi in rooms, and poor lighting. The positives were a heated bathroom floor, and a heater in room, and all things considered with the temperature outside (in the middle of summer) at 5 degrees and constant drizzle, it was better than sleeping in the cold and rain.

L’hôtel est au milieu de nulle part des baraquements à la porte du Cap Nord, , mais ça n'a rien d'un hôtel On installe une réception et une salle de restaurant (on parlera plutôt d'une cantine) et on obtient un hôtel aux prestations basiques (petites chambres, couloirs extérieurs en caillebotis, etc....). La chambre est petite, sale (moquette tachée et crasseuse,) literie usée et limite propre, sans télé, la salle de bain , vétuste , est en fait une petite pièce exigüe où sont entassés WC, lavabo et coin douche. Il fait très chaud dans cette chambre, les rideaux, alors que le soleil tape , sont ouverts, pas de clim , pas de ventilateur, à 2 on bouge à peine , 30 cms entre le mur et le pied du lit . pas de support pour les valises Il faut être mince etseul pour la circulation dans la pièce, le radiateur est allumé, fenêtre difficile à ouvrir ces bâtiments ont été construits pour les JO de Lillehammer.selon a guide "Cela ressemble plutôt à une ancienne caserne désaffectée. Des bâtiments reliés les uns aux autres par des coursives métalliques nous mènent vers une salle de "restaurant " ou plus justement une grande cantine à touristes où le repas est aussi mauvais que l’accueil du personnel de salle !" Sans être difficile, c’est plus que limite, c'est médiocre. C'est même mauvais. L'usine à touristes de base, La salle à manger est un véritable hall de gare, l'ensemble ressemble plus à une auberge de jeunesse avec une immense salle à manger. Le petit déjeuner ne mérite pas ce nom. Les chambres sont de type container. Équipement minimum, pas de télé. aucun service Seul point positif, et c'est cela qui fait que l'hôtel est plein , c'est que nous sommes tout près du Cap Nord Surement pas un hôtel catégorie 3 ou 4 étoiles comme mentionné sur le descriptif remis par l’agence, un hôtel rural simple sans étoile (qualité inférieure aux hôtels bas de gamme en France genre formule 1 ou première classe) Photos à l’appui

On a two night stay travelling on local coach with driver (not on the luxuria coach with drivers) with Leger holidays on a 16 day Arctic Circle and the land of the midnight sun holiday, apparently this used to be the Olympic Village, over two floors with no lift, rooms were clean and comfortable, no tv or hairdryer or tea and coffee making facilities, we enjoyed a buffet style dinner and breakfast, meals were on a set time of 45 mins a setting to eat, you could sit upstairs in the lounge area after your evening meal, as the evenings stayed light we enjoyed nice walks around the area the views and scenery were amazing, the hotel is in a excellent location, staff friendly and helpful. On our first night at the hotel we were taken at 9:30pm by local coach and driver to the North Cape, the north cape hall is a vast complex with cafe, restaurant, toilets, large souvenir shop, small museum and a video cinema. We saw the globe of the north cape and the midnight sun which was absolutely perfect, we had fantastic photos. On our second day staying at the hotel we went with local coach and driver to visit Honningsvag, Skarsvag and Kamoyaer fishing villages and tea and waffles in the Christmas house. I enjoyed my two nights stay at the Scandic Nordkapp hotel.

Vähän aikansa elönyt kesähotelli. Paikka erinomainen Nordkappiin menijöille. Hotelli koostuu useasta rakennuksesta, joista kulku respaan ja ravintolaan ulkokautta. Huoneet pieniä, eikä niissä ole esim TV:tä. Kauimmaisista huoneista matkaa lähes 100m!

Henkilökunta erittäin miellyttävä ja lämmin vastaanotto. Päivällisbuffet oli oikein hyvä, samoin aamiainen hienossa vuorinäköalassa. Sijainti erinomainen nordkapissa käyntiä ajatellen. Huone hieman jo elämää nähnyt mutta hyvä mieli jäi pelottavasta poronkuvasta huolimatta.

Kaksi yötä matkalla Nordkappiin. Huone ihan ok, perustasoa. Ensi kerralla ehkä toinen majoituskohde. Aamiainen pieni pettymys, tosin vatsa kyllä täyttyi. Hotellissa ”ei mitään”, illallinen tiettyyn aikaan joka oli myös pienoinen pettymys.

- No tv in the room. - No internet in the room. - The food was so bad I couldn’t eat. - The rooms small and a very small bathroom however was the rooms clean The rooms good and clean In summary only stay at this hotel if you only are too sleep.

This is not a scandic hotel, it’s a basic motel at a scandic price. Only the main building is beautiful. Rooms avec basic. There is a bed and that’s it. The breakfast is basic as well. Not even a pastry.
