We booked this spot as a last minute resort for a convention at the hotel across the street. It was great! Plentiful space and very clean, uptight rooms/common areas. We did not use any of the amenities as it was only one night, but breakfast looked pretty pleasing! If we ever needed a place to stay again, this would definitely be a great consideration.

We arrived late in the evening and were checked-in quickly. Once we arrived to our room, it appeared as if it had been cleaned, but there was a half-empty water bottle and discarded, used tissues on the bedside table. This was incredibly disheartening. We were so exhausted and decided to just throw them away instead of asking for another room because we couldn't guarantee it would be any better. Upon further inspection, there were several dead crickets behind the curtains and around the floor and in the hallways. It appeared nothing had been vacuumed in a while. The walls were also a mess. It appeared they tried to touch up paint but used the wrong color and it just looked like grease spots everywhere. We were very disappointed in the experience. We chose not to use the free breakfast after the issues with the cleanliness and will not be staying again.

I am pretty sure my room had not been cleaned prior to be me staying there. There were stickers from a field that someone before me had drug in and were all over the carpet. Those so not feel good on socked feet. Then there were dirty men's underwear in one of the drawers. When I checked out I told the lady at the desk and she seems unconcerned and dismissed my experience. I brought her a sticker and a photo of the underwear and she just said "okay." Pretty disappointed in this experience. I have stayed here before with no issues but this one was not impressive.

I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express properties for years. This hotel was updated and contemporary. However, it was absolutely filthy. My room had dust everywhere. The shower was dirty, the mirrors were dirty. The elevator and entry floors were disgusting. Even the elevator buttons were dirty. It was a crushing disappointment. I waited for 15 minutes to check in while the clerk ignored me and talked on the phone, took several other calls, and completed some tasks on her computer, all without speaking to me, just putting up one finger. Upon checkout, I needed a receipt to turn in for reimbursement. However, I could never find an employee. I waited for 10 minutes.

Our room only had one towel, one regular coffee, no body wash, no remotes for TV. Bathroom floor was sticky and very dirty. They then gave us 2 remotes that did not work. They gave us conditioner instead of body wash. We did go down and get additional towels and coffee.

My family Loved having extra space to spread out for the weekend. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Room was missing a hair dryer and iron, but a call to the front desk had them delivered to my door right away.. Hotel location is convenient to shopping, dining and the university.
