"Last time through North Battleford we stayed at Travellodge it was not very nice or clean. While the Lone Star is old, ex Super 8 I think, it is kept clean and nicer than the Travelodge. The elevator works at this hotel, it doesn't work at the Travelodge. The Lone Star Hotel has very comfortable beds. I was greeted at check in by a very friendly and knowledgeable young lady. The gentleman I spoke with at the front desk later was very gracious and accommodating. Will stay here again."

"praise Service: The down jacket was left in the entertainment room, and the staff helped to put it away. Breakfast is really not a compliment. There is nothing to eat. They actually have to pay for meal tickets before giving out plates. This is not in line with the Canadian trust style, although I brought the meal ticket with me."
